Hows the gorgeous Danny doing?

He is doing very well, thanks. I think the story continues here.

This mornings walk was a much steadier affair with much less wobbling about :thumbs up: `

I think this sums it up :yay:

Dave,Oct 15 2009
Posted on the PFK forum.
For todays walk I chose a new spot - the recently cut grass field just up the road.

Armed with a small amount of liver cake and with Danny off lead all the way out but well under the control of the liver cake, we went down onto the short grass and he ran around like a loony.

Then a lorry came along the road at the field edge and he ignored it, however as it reappeared from behind the distant houses he spotted the moving speck and took off after it from 40 yards away from me. I called, he stopped and looked at me, he saw the COME hand signal and he ran back at full speed threatening to slam into my legs which would have brought me down like a skittle. He slid to a halt and sat - and got his treat!!

We need to get this on video but ran out of time to go back today, next time I take camera.

Here is the link.

The routine here has changed somewhat so I havent been taking him out and I miss that (and probably he does as well) but I cant be in two places at the same time.

Thanks for asking about him, I will post the video when next the camera lady comes up.

How brilliant that this boy has bounced back 'literally' after all he's been through :springwow:

Dave, please do be careful - it was a rottie that ran into my knee 9 years ago that resulted in me having my 1/2 knee replacement this year. :thud: They certainly can whack you! :lmao:

I'm soooo glad to hear Danny is improving so much. :yay: He really is the most gorgeous dog. love2

Thanks for the warning, he is a bit unsure where his back end is and resembles a rally car on the corners at times :) and I have to admit that I am not as nimble as I was :(
