Can anyone help Abbi  Back in January i assessed her for a GSD Rescue - she is looking for a new home as her owners have moved South from up North and are in rented accommodation - the landlord has now decided that they are not allowed pets any more and they have been forced to give her up  It has now become a matter of urgency to preferable find her a new home or find a foster home for her. Abbi is a neutered bitch, six years old, black & tan short coat....very pretty girl  She is currently living with two girls aged 10 & 11 - i saw her interacting with them and she was great so could live with children no problem. From memory her current owners are at least her second home, she was originally bought over from Germany as a show dog where they had two litters from her, she was then rehomed to her current owners who had her spade. In her first home she lived with a littermate but i don't think she's had much contact since then with other dogs so probably better in a home with no other dogs as i think that she can be quite mouthy towards other dogs when out....perhaps in experienced hands she could be introduced to another dog. Not great with cats so a cat free home would be better. I don't think that Abbi's vaccinations are up to date so she would need a course of vaccs. She is microchipped and tattooed. She is crate trained, quiet in the house and travels well. Strong on the lead. Abbi loves her runs across the fields so will need a home that can give her the exercise that she needs. She is a lovely, steady, friendly dog who will make a great family pet - when i turned up to do the assessment i got the friendliest welcome from her....didn't bark and just wanted cuddles  Her family have kept her as long as they have been able to get away with and will be very sad to see Abbi go as she has been a fantastic family pet If you feel that you can offer Abbi a permanent new home please contact me in the first instance either by PM or on 07768 217008 - she is near Eastbourne - a homevisit will be carried out prior to rehoming her  I have got a couple of pictures but am struggling to upload them so they will follow when i've worked out how to do it!!!!
