Maya is in the care of Sue and Lesley two of Vigil Gsd Rescue Trustees, they have not got internet access so please contact them on the following numbers. Sue Gibbons 01444 453302 Lesley Milne 01403 262758 German Shepherd Rescue Surrey 01932 571268 Maya has come into rescue because her single mum with 3 children could not cope. I was told that she was growling at the children and was hyperactive, never been off lead and wasnt good with other dogs, she has met us all at kennels today and is a real sweetie, she has also met and was one of 7 dogs of both sexes playing happily together in a run. Will post more pics soon. Maybe Mike will come along with better pics?

Maya has been out exploring the garden with her 2 new friends Winnie and Axel who are also looking for there new homes

Sounds like another owner that didnt realise the dog would need to go through puppyhood, childhood, AND teenage stage before she grew up. And its how you treat them during that time that determines how they end up in adulthood! Still, looks like she is enjoying life now John! |

I had the absolute pleasure in walking this girl today, she is adorable  , had no issues what so ever.. she is happy to play with other dogs, likes kids, likes people, takes food very gently..and is good on the lead.. she is a total honey.. if John had not had known my address, I would have sneaked her out the gate in the car  and by now she would be laying by my fire. Cant say it enough.. TOTALLY ADORABLE.

I would just like to say that I met this young lady today, and she is a credit to the breed. Such a brilliant, well tempered dog  Whoever ends up with this young girl will be one very very lucky person
