GSD Annointed Member Posts: 1,035 Group: Members Member #236 Joined: 29 September 2006	Cassie is being re-homed because her owners have 3 young children in the house and cannot give Cassie the time she needs to overcome her issues. She was bought from a puppy farm by the present owners relative , Cassie had been locked up in a shed for 6 months of her life. She has issues with men in general and is quite frightened around them, she also has separation anxiety...we are looking for an experienced home for Cassie and somone that can help her learn that she dosen't have to be an afraid little girl. She has been moved into kennels for assessment and is being worked with by a Dog Listener. Cassie has quite a strong personality and will need her new family to work with her patiently and calmly so she can overcome all of her worries. Cassie has lived with other dogs before therefore,upon a successful personality match and introduction Cassie could live with another canine friend. She would be fine to live with older children and would thrive in a quiet environment with few changes in the beginning. She really does deserve the best family home - she has already had two previous homes and her next should be one forever. Fingers crossed it doesn't take too long for her to find the home she so desperately needs !

GSD Annointed Member Posts: 1,212 Group: Members Member #239 Joined: 1 October 2006	Thanks to so many of our supporters we now have raised the funds to buy a kennel which is going to be sited at Aunty Alison's home and Cassie will be coming there to enjoy the sort of lives all dogs should until we find that very special home for her. Thank you to all our supporters who have helped to raise the money for this special girl. Like all rescues we still need more funds to secure her future, so even if you have 1p or �1 please help the Cassie appeal by visiting our website and buying Christmas Cards, donating, whatever.
