GSD Addict Posts: 885 Group: Members Member #1,776 Joined: 25 May 2008 Postcode: N7	Posted with permission Hello all I went to do an assessment tonight for German Sheperd Rescue and came in to a scene that I do not like to see Poor Christie She is such a sweet little girl but a bag of bones. There was a home lined up for her dependent on the assessment. She can not go to her new home as she is she needs some investigative work. I hope it is just a dietry matter maybe a wheat or gluten allergy. I can not believe that this girl has been to the vets on numerous occasions and not once has been suggested that she has blood tests to see what is going on with her. She has always been this underweight since a pup but she is 4 years old now. She needs out ASAP but because of her nature and owner details that will be given out to potential fosters at the time. She may have seperation anixety issues!! and she will have very loose runny stools 90% of the time so not eveyones cup of tea. Both German Sheperd Rescue who she will be signed over too and RSPCA Central are here to help her and find out what is wrong but she needs a foster home to go to. She is living with another dog. I fell in love with her she is a real sweet babe. If you can help please PM me or email me cjweyman123@aol.com or contact Carol @ German Sheperd Rescue southeast. If not I am sure someone will contact you soon. If you PM me your number I can tell you more about this little girl. We really need her out very quickly. The pictures dont show just how skinny this girl is. I will contact everyone tonight to see where we feel is the best place for this little on to go.

Madly in love with Nigel Posts: 7,254 Group: Members Member #688 Joined: 10 April 2007	This poor girl... makes my blood boil that she's probably got a v. easily treatable tum but just never go the vet care she needs. If my girl didn't have her medication, she'd get runny poos constantly and end up this thin. This girl just needs the right tests done (I'd say for EPI and/or colitis) and treatment and she'll be fine and stunning. The poor baby Well done GSRUK for helping her

We have arranged for her blood tests on Thursday and she will be off for a new life with her foster family we will keep pictures of her progress and let you all know when she finds her forever home when she is looking better. We had another offer come in closer to home so Christie is not with Diane as above posts suggest. Thank you for your offer Diane. I will remember you for the future though you wont get away with it that easy. The blood tests have not come back yet they should be with us on Monday. Christie is in the care of GSRUK She has so many offers of homes already. We will keep you updated with her progress and hope she can go to her forever home really soon.
