You ready to drool?..... ![]() Gino is currently in Europe...in foster and ready to travel to the UK to a loving home Here's the info I've been sent by his wonderful fostermum (who is also fostering ARIS.. and Gino is Aris' best friend...)Gino is a neutered male, 30kg, 2yrs old. Gino hasn’t had much of a life. He was abandoned on a rubbish tip as a puppy and from the age of 4 months has lived in a shelter. Not a shelter where people loved and cared for the dogs – a shelter where somebody cleaned the cages, put down food and then left. For most of the day there was no human supervision and even when there was, nobody walked the dogs or paid them attention. In December Gino came to us. At first, I think he thought he had just come to another shelter. Gino related well to the other dogs but he didn’t know humans, except as a source of food. He had spent all his life with other dogs and they were his companions and his security. He wasn’t sure he wanted much to do with creatures with two legs and he was initially frightened of any close contact with us. Over the last two months Gino has changed so much. He is gradually beginning to show us affection. He walks well on the lead and off lead he knows his name and comes when called. He is good with other dogs of both sexes but has a special friendship with Aris who is the same size. He is not a dominant dog (still pees like a girl) so looks to Aris for security. He has no problem with cats (completely ignores them), is very well behaved in the house – fully house trained, can be left on his own inside with the other dogs, uses the dog flap and generally causes no problems. He needs more socialization with humans as he is still timid with strangers and I think he will definitely need rehoming with another dog to provide him security. I have no experience of him with children but wouldn’t expect any problems with older children. He is not a rough or boisterous dog and around the house is very quiet and well behaved.Gino has been fully vaccinated and has his pet passport ready to travel, and would be able to come to the UK within the next 3 months OK... wanna see some more of him? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() LET'S FIND THIS GORGEOUS, GENTLE, HANDSOME GUY A GREAT HOME Anyone interested, PM me in first instance |
