Izzy (Isabelle) affectionately known as Ebuzz (and Wuzzlebutt) you know how these names evolve! ![]() ![]() ![]() Izzy is approximately 2 years old. We have been fostering her for about 6 months. She is an ex pound dog who was on a PTS list. She had nowhere else to go in the 11th hour, so she came to us. She has a very beautiful and kind nature, so affectionate, just adores cuddles and is one of those dogs who tucks in really close to you for a hug She really is like a big bear! She has obviously not had the best past in the world, which is clear in her separation anxiety and her fear of men (she's ok once she gets to know a male person though, just is scared at first) She is very good with children and even though she likes to chase cats, she won't chase one that is known to her, only feline strangers! She does, however, like to chase sheep/livestock and unfortunately we live on a farm where there are sheep. Our landlady wants Izzy gone asap, because she got in with the sheep, oops! We are in a desperate situation as we've been told either she goes, or you all go! And we have just been trying to placate the landlady by saying we are working on it! Izzy had a rescue place, but I just cannot face putting her back in kennels again, I just don't think she would cope, and the work we have done with her would become undone. One other thing I need to mention is that she is a food stealer, and can open cupboards and doors! We either have to remove all foodstuffs when we go out (from cupboards) or tape up the cupboard doors. She doesn't chew or trash things that don't contain food though. She really needs someone who will give her the time and commitment she needs and so deserves. She's a gorgeous girl. We are in the East Devon area. We would be back up but we're not a rescue. However, we would still have back up from Dogwatch who sent out the appeal about her originally. Edited by Ebuzz, 21 Jan 2009, 08:27 PM.

Oh bless her! She made me look twice, she could be Kiki's twin! She's just got the Shep ears (and a bit more Shep in the face) rather than Rottie ears like Kiki. Really hope this darling gets sorted soon, Kiki has such a lovely personality and sounds very similar to Izzy, and really we couldn't have wished for a better family dog. |
