Sally 11 year old GSD; Older GSD abandoned by callous owner

GSD Jayne Posts: 28 Group: Members Member #113 Joined: 1 August 2006	We are trying to find someone who will foster or re-home an 11 year old GSD spayed bitch. Her owner put her in kennels some months ago when he met a new ‘lady friend’ who doesn’t like big dogs!! He told a friend what he had done and asked her to let him know if any one would take her. Then a week last Sunday she got a phone call saying if she didn’t find somewhere for her by Thursday she was being put down! A kind person has managed to get him to pass ownership and they are now paying her boarding fees but are unable to take her on as they have three dogs each and Sally does not get on with other dogs! That is her only problem as her health is excellent. Sally is in the Derby area but the persons paying her boarding would gladly take her wherever needed. I am doing everything I can to get my girl to 11 (she's 10 and a half), and then you get people that do this. All I can say is what goes around, comes around, and it cant come fast enough for him. someone gives her a home very very soon J x

GSD Annointed Member Posts: 1,648 Group: Members Member #393 Joined: 16 December 2006	so much like my Amber whos nearly twelve, shame she dont get on with other bitches. mind iam not sure Amber would but it was a idea!! how can someone want to dump a dog that age(mind any age is just as bad) the b's i always was told that what goes around comes around, but the b's i know are forever falling into and coming out smelling of roses.a lot of decent people have to struggle with life.
