Meg is a beautiful 5yr old GSD who has lived with a family with children, due to a marrige break-up she is needing a new home. She gets on with older dogs. She is ok with quieter cats.
I met this beauty today and she travelled well . A small Gsd with a lovely nature .
If you can offer her a loving home Please contact German Shepherd Rescue Uk Or mandy on this site.

love2 :love your gsd: too. She would have been ideal for a little sis to Jake, I don't suppose she will be waiting long for her forever home but we will be keeping an eye on her just incase she is still looking once Jake is on the mend

:pull hair: I really don't get this :pull hair:

I have been through three break ups...yes three with 2 children! & I have NEVER let any of my 3 dogs go anywhere and they have never gone without! There is no excuse in my eyes!

It can't always be helped, many many lanlords have a no dog policy these days so it's not always possible to keep your beloved dog no matter how much you love them. Must be very hard for the owner, its hard enough with a family break up without losing most faithful member of the family.
Hope Meg finds a home soon.

I've survived losing husbands, I'd never have survived without my dogs!

Meg, I hope someone can give you a FOREVER home soon, if I wasn't getting Kira in two days I'd be after you myself! :glitter_love:

You're Damed If You Do & You're Damed If You Don't

I've had 2 breakups & kept 3 dogs & bought up a child but they never went without, I did, so I could keep them all together, afterall it wasn't they're fault it was the ex's! & I'm so glad I did they were my lifesavers.

Good luck Meg, your gorgeous :thumbs up:

When it comes to having a roof over your's and your children's heads or being homeless as was the case for me many years ago you do not have any choice. I was lucky in that i found a wonderful home for my dog without her having to go into a rescue but it could have been very different and it broke my heart
Sometimes there really is no other option and we shouldn't judge people without knowing the circustances.

i totally agree with this. i got alfie, who i lost in august, due to a marriage break-up. neither partner could afford more than a flat with no garden. plus they would both have to work full-time .they gave alfie up for his sake, not theirs, and we still keep in touch.

We would love to give Meg a home. I think she would be ideal for us and we can give her everything she needs. I have emailed GSD. I am already on their waiting list for a homecheck.

PS, I am about two hours drive from Warwick.
