Well, I believe that Kai's family have joined here, but Ice's family are really rottweiler people (they used to breed them years ago), so I don't know whethr we will see anything on here about Ice. Of course, Mutts in Distress will keep in touch with all of them and will pop the odd word on. Let's leave it for a couple of weeks, then perhaps close/move it! Pat x |

Just received this update from Kai's new family : Dear Mutts, We thought we would use this space to tell you how Kai is settling down with us. He has been with us now for around 3 weeks and seems quite happy. He has had his injections and been looked over twice by our vet who is quite happy with his condition. It is just a matter now of building him up and for him to accept that now he has a permanent home because he has had such a chequered existence. It is difficult to understand how a dog that has been so badly maltreated has such a "sweet" nature and can be so affectionate. Unfortunately two of our cats have left home and taken up residence in our garage but they will come to terms with things in time. The third cat has established a wary truce with Kai but they still have their moments. It was good to read that Ice has been rehomed. I am pleased to say that we had something to do with that because he was mentioned to a lady we met who said she knew somebody who wanted a Rottweiler and he took it from there. Will update you as things progress. Elizabeth and David Allen Anne x |
