Here's Rocky..........and there's no two ways about it, this handsome fellow is big, chunky & strong.
He's about 2 years old. He was found about 5 weeks ago tied to a tree in a rural area.
A young fellow out walking untied him and brought him home - there he was very well looked after
until we could take him into rescue.

Rocky is not leadtrained - he has a lot of energy and he will get into the walking mode when the initial energy
is out. He's a great character - not one for cats - and he'd be way to strong & bouncy in a home with
young children.

He will need an experienced GSD home, where his owner knows that this fellow needs lead training and
guidance................though he is a smashing young dog :running GSD:

 'tis me Rocky

Just back from having Rocky out in the fields at the kennels and wow what a wonderful fellow :yay: we had a great time in the lashings of rain - Rocky chasing tennis balls . He's such a big love - a very strong big honey of a young lad.

A seriously active home , a bit more lead training, no cats and plenty of tennis balls

Poor fella really hated going back into his kennel area - Rocky's dreaming to-night about home for himself someday soon.............

Rocky had a lovely walk to-day and played with his tennis balls most of the afternoon.
He is such a big :glitter_love:

sadly already 4 weeks in kennels and still waiting for his home.

he is so handsome & so loving.

While, yes he is safe in kennels, long term in kennels is very stressful on all dogs.

Was up in the kennells with Gill yesterday and spent a little bit of time with Rocky. What a Sweeheart. He is a big teddybear that you just want to cuddle. He is everything that I love about Sheps. Whoever is lucky enough to get him will be getting a smashing dog. :GSD:
