The most beautiful blue eyes & gentle nature - a very happy fellow. Am so thrilled to see him happy again with his best friend and toys - though I thought he had a big bat in his gob in the photo you lovely big fella and thank you for giving him such a brilliant home.

GSD Annointed Member Posts: 1,149 Group: Members Member #1,723 Joined: 8 May 2008 Postcode: rg23 7dz	thanks guys! polar is a fantastic dog hes the biggest baby loves toys and meaty bones, loves all my 12 dogs including the jrt and some times up to another 8 holiday dogs although wookie does beat him up every so often bless him, hes a great swimmer he just gets very excited when he sees dogs out and about and has broken some of my best police leads and dogmatics it would be lovely to hear more about him how old was he when you picked him up call and where did he go from there? poor boy sounds like hes had lots of homes

GSD Annointed Member Posts: 1,515 Group: Members Member #325 Joined: 7 November 2006	It was 2005 - spotted him in a pound and we had room in the rescue so I collected him - another person who was then involved in CALL was going to keep him - he was such a honey, we had christened him Muppet. She decided to rehome him instead of keeping him and he was, from memory, rehomed directly to a home in UK - I don't know where as I wasn't involved in his actual re-homing. John very kindly offered back up just in case. ...and I think, as they say, the rest is history He ended up in the pound here as his original owners surrendered him in because he grew too big - he is a Pyreneen x shep. He was on his final day in the Pound so had to get him out or he'd have been pts. I think he was about 18mths. when we got him out of the Pound . I'll never forget those Mediterranean blue eyes - just beautiful and he's such a huge baby Hope that fills in the blanks

GSD Annointed Member Posts: 1,149 Group: Members Member #1,723 Joined: 8 May 2008 Postcode: rg23 7dz	thanks gill i wonder who the first uk home was and why they got rid of him i know he had 2 homes in quick succession before me. do you know why he ended up in the pound? if you get bigdogs like polar in great dane adoption may be able to help you the take most giant dogs in but they are bursting most of the time i will try to down load more pics of him without the furballs on the lounge floor! thank you for helping him hes gorgeous!
