We took Tucker from a northern pound on Tuesday, he was out of meds and would have been PTS that same day had it not been for the intervention of http://www.dogsos.co.uk/

We continued his meds and he seems stable and unstressed though he can be a noisy Tucker at the other dogs though we are working on that and even now he will mix with others under supervision.

He is VERY friendly with humans though, very sweet temperament. Today he went out with a pack of 5 dogs under supervision and he was fine, although he would live with another dog we do need to be careful because of his epilepsy and the chance that another dog would attack him during a fit - not that we have seen any seizure activity at all as yet.

Once our vet has secured his records we will be in a better position to judge how to proceed but he is a very nice normal dog who seems unaffected by the condition or the meds.

how old is Tucker, Dave?
4 or 5 I would think but we are still waiting for his vets records which should tell us exactly, (we hope), so we havent given it much thought really. I will give him a once over tomorrow and take a proper guess.

We have nothing going on for Tucker at the moment, his vets records put him at 4 years old. He was castrated a week ago and has recovered well. They also cleaned his ears properly whilst he was under and could find no problem with them to account for his sensitivity with them, though he does seem better now they have been thoroughly cleaned..
