Absolutely gorgeous 5-8 month old male GSD X. (this photo taken week we got him...he has put some weight on since)Was a stray we took in and have been fostering but this guy needs a bigger place to live in and loads of space to run in. One of the rescue centres in ireland suggested I try here so here I am. If I can figure out how to do it...I will attach a photo. At the moment he is fully vaccinated but currently whole...neuter scheduled soon. He will also be microchipped. I work for animal welfare charity but we do not have rehoming centre. If anyone knows someone who can offer this great cuddly guy a home and knows how to go about transporting dogs through this site, pls contact me Much appreciated davdeva@hotmail.com

So sorry...seem to have a problem usuing this website. If you have responded to me here but have no received no reply...pls e0mail davdeva@hotmail.com as I just don't seem to get it..LOL Anyway...just wanted to update you on BOOMER the male gsd x we have. I figure he is 8 months old...he cocked his leg the other day for the first time so this is why I figure his age to 8 mos (this is when my dog started cocking his leg). Anyhoo...he is being neutered on monday and of course he is totally vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. We did try to rehome him but it didn't owrk out. He needs owners who will spend time training him and exercising him and who have had experieince with puppies before. He is so smart and learns so fast ( he knows he needs to sit before I give him is food or water...he hasn't quite copped on that he must remain sitting for me to put it down -often get very wet! LOL) But he is working on it. he is excitable and loves to play and he is experienceing things all for the first time. It is like having a 3 month old pup but he is 8 mos old. I don't know his past as he is a stray but I feel hewas never in a house before. Anyway...I am going to try to put up a couple of photos of him at a recent fundraising event for the Irish Blue Cross (where I work). Wish me luck ![]() No luck...if you would like some photos...pls e-mail me davdeva@hotmail.com |

Got more pics and a great update from Dave on the GAWJUSS Boomer "Boomer is VERY dog friendly...he is everything friendly! He has not been on a lead much so he is a puller at the mo but he is learning. I have no kids or cats but the neighbourhood kids are always over playing with the dogs. Boomer is a bit too big for them & jumps to lick their faces and that scares a couple of them, but it's just puppyish behaviour. He can also do the over-excited puppy nipping when playing, but it's all just stuff he's got to learn, like any puppy. There's not a bad bone in his body. He loves everyone and everything. I don't have a cat but he saw a cat the other day and stood frozen for a moment, jumped a mile when the cat moved, then it ran away and he tried to chase it but again, just felt this was in fun puppy mode. Here are some photos from a fundraising event we participated in. He is muzzled in most of the photos only becasue that is the law when in public, NOT due to any behavioural problems. He was so funny that day. We went to Tymon Park and he bolted right for the canal! LOVED the water. One day he was playing in a puddle...kicking up the water and tryi9ng to catch it! Was so cute! BIG SIGH..." PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS POOR PUP IS ONLY HAVING TO WEAR A MUZZLE IN THESE PICS BEAUSE OF THE (RIDICULOUS) IRISH LAW SAYING CERTAIN BREEDS HAVE TO BE MUZZLED IN PUBLIC Get ready to swoon guys... heeeeeere's BOOMER!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() wanting to play ![]() what a handsome fella ![]() ![]() This boy would make a fantastic family pet or ultra-friendly playmate for another dog, girl or boy Anyone interested should contact Dave direct: davdeva@hotmail.com |

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard helping me get the photos on line here and finding a forever home for my Boomie! I love the presentation and little cartoons and comments... My husband and I are going to miss Boomer terribly but I know he will have a much fuller and happier life in his new home...and I know we gave him a new start. My warmest wishes and eternal gratitude for all you have done! Boomer sets sail tomorrow and Chris assures me Boomers new family is big and able for him... I did a reading of Boomer the other day...(animal communication) and when I told Boomer he was going to a new home I asked him what he would like in his new home...I immediately got the picture of a huge field of green grass and a couch...he wants his own couch! He is ready to go! Good Luck to all involved and thank you again Thanks again everyone! |

Well Boomer has arrived as I have just got in from Oxford Services. Boomer shared the boot wonderfully with Sheena. Neither showed any bother about sharing the space and quickly curled up together. Once home he met Bengy and was very respectful of Bengy's oldness!! ![]() He is now downstairs with Sheena and Bengy sleeping ![]() I hope to get some now too before he goes to his new home later today! A big thank you and well done to his fosterer in Ireland. He is in perfect shape and health

Sadly after a 4 hour round trip with Boomer he did not stay. Boomer was fantastic and was brilliant with the other dogs. 1 GSD and 2 JRTs. He was totally submissive to them but sadly they as a pack would not accept him at all and I sadly had to make the decision that it would not be fair on Boomer to persevere with it. So Boomer is still looking for a new home. Has walked back into my house to be smothered by kisses by Sheena and ignored as usual by Bengy ![]() Please can this be moved to males under 3 as he is no longer in Ireland ![]() |
