Here are some general notes regarding our rehoming criteria if a dog is being rehomed by us directly to a home : 1. The first step for any potential applicant for any of our dogs is completion of our (CALL) Q-Form which will be forwarded by e-mail upon request. This form may be completed online and returned to us by e-mail. 2. The next step, if the home is suitable for that dog, and the dog in question is suitable for the applicant, is a home check. 3. We will then have in depth discussions with a potential home following completion of items 1 & 2 above. 4. If it is decided that the home is suitable for the dog in question following completion of all above, we will then arrange transport. 5. At all times, the final decision as to whether the dog is being rehomed to the applicant is our decision. 6. Our dogs are rehomed on our Adoption Agreement which must be signed by the adopter at the time of collection of the dog. 7. The cost of transport is paid by the adopter and CALL requires a donation to the rescue from the adopter. 8. Apart from general information as known by us regarding any dog available for re-homing, we do not post snippets of information - all applicants are required to complete our Q-Form first as we need to know as much about the new potential home as you do about the dog. 9. We are not in a position to phone an applicant unless they provide a land line number. CALL is operated by myself and Martina, apart from the dogs under our care we both work, so all applicants will need to be patient as sometimes neither of us are in a position to respond immediately to an applicant therefore you need to e-mail us so that we can forward our Q-Form to you for you to complete and then we will have your information on file and your application will be dealt with in due course. Thank you. |
