If any rescue would like to take in a irish gsd(s) but find the cost of transport an issue there MAY be funds available through the BIGGSD appeal fund to pay for it,This would only apply to lower the number of gsds wanting to come to the UK as there is a backlog,at a rough Guess approx 15 gsds are in rescues and foster homes ,we would like to make room for other gsds that come into the pounds with a threat of a put to sleep situation on them, 01932 571268 ,please contact me by phone only. Please note this only applies to Rescues only and not private individuals,Although if a private person wishs to take in a gsd for rehoming and after a talk with myself there is a possibility that funding could be found |

sorry to ask here, please move it if you feel best What is the costing of bringing a dog to the UK? I know alot of charities have success in listing prices then people can give money and say to themselves I have just paid a release fee or I have just paid shipping costs rather than I have just spent £20 or I have just spent £50. Even if the money doesnt actually go to that it helps the impression the person has that they have really helped a dog in its way to a good home. I once collected £50 for a small animal charity and it was nice to think that I had just brought a suitable cage for a few rats or a lot of toys for some rabbits...turns out I actually paid for a gerbil to be castrated sorry gerbil! |
