What are your feelings towards this year election? Are you excited about it? Are you tired of hearing about it? At first I was soooooooooooooo excited about the election year. This has already been and is a historical election but I'm kind of getting tired of it. It's not that exciting to me when it first started. I kind of wish November would hurry and get here so it can be all over and people can stop talking about it. I wonder what the News will report about then...I can't wait and see |

ah yes, after November the news can return to the latest paris Hilton, lilo(Lindsey lohan) and Britney spears happenings...priorities priorities I tell ya ;) I don't really get heavily into politics. Honestly I think at the end of the day we are still choosing between two POLITICIANS, people forget about that. Politics is still about lying and promising all these wonderful things and solutions, interesting how many of those promises fall by the wayside once some politicians win their respective offices. hmmm... |

I feel people can vote for whomever they choose for whatever reason they choose because it's their right to vote. I personally wouldn't vote on someone based on gender, race or anything of that nature. It's all about the issues for me. Things like health care, same-sex marriage, the war, and education. Those are the things that are important to me. |

The media has been so obsessed with the election that I didn't even know Bernie Mac had passed, or Linsday Lohan was dating a girl, or that Brittney Spears came back from the dead. LOL. I'm a sucker for celebrity gossip, so shoot me. But seriously. I'm just now finding all these things out. :| The election has been interesting to watch.. I don't vote, but I think it is interesting that McCain has chosen a female vice president to run with him. I mean that's an obvious attempt to win the hearts of the people who were voting for Clinton. I think he made a wrong choice though.. He's going to lose a lot of votes now that it's out about Palin's young daughters pregnancy.. For the simple fact that she is so young, and people are so judgemental.. They will likely see that as negative, and steer away from that election choice.. I don't think it really matters. I'm predicting Obama to be the next president. Not because I want to see the first black president in office or whatnot, but because I think most of America wants to see the first black president in office. Especially now that Hilary is out of the race. I think it's sad this election, because people have simply been doing just what Anderia said.. Voting on, race and gender, instead of what topics are at hand, and what goals each of our canidates have to offer us. People have been caught up with having the first female president, or the first black president. *shrugs* whatever. We'll find out soon enough ladies.. Soon enough.. |
