Attach your save game file and I'll run it through my version of AEE - which works fine. This will tell us if there is something wrong with your install/settings.

Well, this is a first. Your save caused AEE to crash. It would not even load.

I can only speculate that there is something wrong with your original install.

Should be good enough, Guest.

One thing pops out at me. Your Save Game is only 524kb. That seems way too small for AEE. A typical save game is around 1900 kb even early on.

Now, I don't know if you have Auto Save turned off....you should, if you haven't. In any case, load the game, start a new campaign and try to save it using the Esc > Save Game routine rather than CTRL+S or Auto Save. Pick another name for your save game other than what you already used. If the game does not CTD ( always a good sign ) close it out and go into your Save Game directory and see what size the game you just saved happens to be. If it is appreciably larger you can assume that your earlier save game is corrupted and no one can bring that back from the dead.

If the new one is larger, send me that one as an attachment.

Right from the start I can see that you still have the MTM temples which can cause problems. Limes has eliminated these from the newer versions. I'm going to plug your file in (after saving the original elsewhere!) and see what happens.

Okay. I was able to load it and select any of the settlements and select buildings to construct in each of them. As soon as I advanced the turn it CTD.

Go to this thread http://s10.zetaboards.com/aeelysium/topic/7187086/

in the first post you will find a link for Limes' Hotfix 1.3 That should take care of the MTM Temples issue.

Then let's see where we are.

Limes, I have now reached 230 BC. 50 years = 200 turns. No problems other than an occasional "Save error".

I concur with Limes.

The game started to advance and then crashed on the Epirotes turn.

Most likely this is an installation problem.

How's going friends? Tell me about your gameplay. I noticed that game works perfectly except too many crashes during battles. I've used older descr_formations and it works very stable now. I will test it today.
