Yes. Guy who worked with me started to act against me. AEE was trampoline for him and he needed publicity. I moved from TWC because most guys who wanted to work with me on AEE was sth like spies from another mods. Good, that this chapter is closed... I can say that after last changes and fixes AEE works without CTD (for now). I will create list of possible bugs you shouldn't be worried about. I took care of most of them, but could miss sth. |

Thats the best looking archer ive ever seen in any mod. Screenie plz ![]() Oh and Limes i thought about asking you to add a small dicription to the soldiers charictor screen with the starting lvl of there moral, as this is a stat that never appears in Mods. It just says Good or Exelent Moral. I been adding it to Mods in the Data/text/export_units.txt. Ive just been adding a line that says - \nStarting Moral = 7\n etc. so i can get a feel for the enemys and my troops rough moral status. Im not sure if adding extra Moral to buildings in the export_descr_buildings.txt realy works, thats why i say [Starting Moral = *] as it could be higher if a building has a +moral bonus attached to it, or if the General has a bonus. I know its just another thing to add to the list so if your to busy dont worrie about it, i will add it myself later, and maybe send it to you via email so you can take a look to see if its worth adding to your excelent Mod. Next issue hunted. Unit cards weren't shown properly (irritating white block instead of unit illustration). The reason is not compressed tga files. Most of them are ok, but there are still many that should be compressed. Issue can be handled by re-saving with use of RLE compression method not compressed tga UNIT_INFO file. ![]() Waiting for the release of the roman Wars I decided to play for the Epirus. Crush is at the entrance to the battle with the Gauls. They have Daunian skirmishers in the army. What is this? I`m really noob in the modding. Please explain what it may be?? Thanks.

Hi. I need list of units from your battle. In the meantime I'll install fresh copy of AEE:GC and check my battle with Daunian Skirmishers. So, I've checked battle Epirus against Gauls with Daunian Skirmishers unit and everything is ok. From your post I can understand that skin for any unit is missing. I'm not sure what unit it is. So I have to check more than one unit especially that in my game Daunian Skirmishers are ok. What graphic card do you use? ATI? Edited by limes, Sep 15 2013, 11:54 AM.

Hi Limes. Greetings from Russia. Thank you for quick response. I use ATI. Crush happens when i fight with these 2 gauls army. In other battles all is ok. Here the "team roster" Gauls - first army - gallic warlord, gallic warband, swordsmen, senone swordsmen, warband, gallic noble cavalry, gallic light cavalry,gallic slingers, mercenary gallic swords, armoured swordsmen, samnite mercenaries, mers samnite spearmen, samnite infantry (merc), lucan infantry (merc), mercenary latin infantry, italy spears, daunian skirmishers second army - swordsmen, galic swordsmen, galic noble cavalry, noble cavalry, gasaetae, galic warband, gallic axemen,gallic slingers, chosen swordsmen,galic light cavalry Epirus - hetairoi hoplitai, italian swordsmen, italian swordsmen (merc), hoplitai, pezoi, epirote phalangite, merc hoplitai, cretan archers, asian elephants (merc), samnite infantry (merc), lucan infantry (merc) I went through this battle in automatic regimen. But after a few moves I again fight the Gauls army with the couple italic units. Again the same picture on my desktop and again automatic battle after reloading) I'm 99% sure that the case in the first, a large army of Gauls since I tried to attack only this army on the next turn crush happens again. May be all very simple - i have stupid videocard) |

I'll test your settings tomorrow. I've checked different configurations in custom battles between Gauls and Epirus and everything goes well. Even there is no such skin name in describe model battle file which is responsible for unit models and skins. This file name you presented on the image is internal name of skin used by model and shouldn't be even noticed by game engine. Strange.

Btw, try yo use latest drivers. I've heard that some sort of ATI drivers was troublesome. And of course warm greetings from Poland.
