Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, Ben, and a pilot by the name of Frank Lapidus returned to the island in much the same way as they had originally landed on it; a plane crash. Jack, Kate, and Hurley landed together by the waterfall. Ben, Sun, and Lapidus fell with the rest of the plane on a smaller island off the coast. Sayid regained consciousness alone. There was comfort in the familiarity of the island, and terror too--the latter was heightened by a fact that these two-time castaways would soon realize: they weren't in the right time. Though their return had halted the frantic time shifting of the island, it had stopped not in the present day, but in the 1970's during the prime of the Dharma Initiative. Everything might have been fine, if not for another little complication; Charles Widmore was on the plane, too.

As Ben and several members of the Oceanic six headed for the jungles of the mainland to find the Dharma Barracks, Charles and his two henchmen were laying plans to reunite with his former disciples, the Hostiles. They were about to blow open a dispute that was centuries old; the ancient regime of the Hostiles, headed by Charles and coveted by Ben, verses the Dharma group, of which young Ben Linus was a member and a revolutionary. This was more than deja vu, this was re-writing history. Whose side will you choose?[/align]

MTDV is a literate LOST roleplay, which takes place following the television show as it has been revealed thus far. The plot is speculation within the canon, and gives the players a little leeway within the story. We accept both canons and originals.
