i guess this is growing up,

[size0]
argenta, illinois. it's a place you've probably never heard of in your entire life.
it's considered one of the smallest towns in illinois, with a population of only 921 people.
the town is one of those cute suburbs you see in tv movies, the place everyone wants to raise their children.
the place with the white picket fences and the cute old couple who walk around the block together every evening.
it seems like something straight out of a magazine, and it is for the most part.
argenta is just like any other town, with teenagers and grumpy neighbors, and
dogs who never seem to stop barking at inconvient times. the teens of argenta all go to the same high school,
argenta-oreana high, home of the bombers. they have drama just like anywhere else would,
and they have friends, and parties, and of course none of them are anywhere near perfect.
of course, who really is these days? almost all of them have grown up here in argenta,
and really they have nothing to complain about. there is a low crime-rate, good education,
and they are surrounded by people they've known their entire lives. some of them can't wait to get out,
while others never plan to leave. they have learned their life lessons here, the good and the bad.
for them, argenta is home, it's where they have grown up, and they wouldn't want it any other way.
