Regular Forum (No New Posts) gulf of finland
st. petersburg is very fortunately situated right in the seat of neva bay, a branch of the gulf of finland in the beautiful baltic sea. the water is clear and perfect for swimming, and even when the temperature is too chilly for that, the coast is one of the most beautiful places in the city to spend an afternoon.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) saint isaac's cathedral
standing majestically as the largest cathedral in the whole of st. petersburg (and all of russia at the time it was built), saint isaac's is not only a sacred place for many muggles, but also for handfuls of witches and wizards. even for those who are not religious, the view is enough to warrant a trip.
