 Title: FUSUMA LAND 4.5 Author: Yamato Waki Scanner: Akanee Translator: Chihaya Proofer: noriko_chijinu Editor: Moonueng Chihaya's note on Chapter 1-2: A typical pure crack by the great Yamato-sensei. I'd say in the same genre as her 'Aramis 83' and 'Love pack'. The Thai translator did an excellence job and cleverly converted Japanese language jokes into Thai ones. Hopefully I can manage to maintain the comedic feel without confusing the English readers too much XD; Kachiko would won many awards if we ever hold a contest among Yamato-sensei's heroine. First the geekiest one, the most non-typical looking one, and the shortest one (and that counts for something because most of Yamato-sensei's heroines are mostly shorties). The story itself IMHO is also one of her funniest, closely tied to 'Love pack' and herclassic work about a prince coaching a baseball team in an old-fashioned school (which I don't know the name in Japanese) I wonder if anybody is actually reading this XD; |

I read all you message because a I really LOVE Yamato's works with all my soul!  But - as you already know - I don't have the requirements you ask for... I'm so sorry.  Btw... thanks a lot for translating it!

It's so quiet in here XD;; No worry, we've already found a new editor for Fusuma Land. <3 Chihaya's thought on ch.3 One thing that I adore about Yamato Waki-sensei's work is.. her sense of humor in some insignificant detail. As for this chpater, I present you... Narihira's Pineapple court costume!!! OMG pineapple print must be in style during the Heian Era. XDDD I had an.. unexplainble time translating Narihira and Kaguya-hime's conversation passed by those alien girls. *cries and laughs at the same time* The Thai translation version was hilarious. I really wish I could convey it as good as the original. XD; Next time.. Dracula-san will be the star ^_- |

Chihaya's thought on ch.4 I can't help but agree with Drac-san. Vampires are restricted with 3 requisites, food, keep, and clothes. How true! Among the fantastic 4 of Fusuma Gang, despite his so very non-human characteristics, Drac-chan appears to be the most human XD and insecure Dracula is kinda cute. This is the chapter that explain why I like Mayoko the most in this story. She's perfectly content with what she has. I wish I could be like that someday. I seriously want the March hare as a plushie! |
