As reported on HackMii 10% of the Wii's they tested for BootMii compatibility housed a new Boot1. WiiNewz is now confirming that these Wii's will not let you install "SoftMods" such as the Wii and GameCube backup loaders. However, modchips and general homebrew aren't effected - yet.
