I've looked and looked. Is there anyway to make upside down catfish less "shy?" |

I honestly have no experience with the UDC but I have a brown bullhead cat and he is very shy, most cats like it dark so if you can have the lights off and the room the tank is in dim and possibly hook up a few LED lights to the hood of your exisisting hood/light then you might see more of him. I am going to see if I can find any info on ways to break them of their shyness. I will get back to you within a day but I don't think you can do much more then that. |

I saw one of them swim out the other day and part of his body was kinda yellow. Is this normal? |

Well, there was kinda a yellowish sheen to him. Another question, Is it normal for them to be sgressive to each other? The largest one Always pushes the smallest one out of whatever hiding place he's in. and yes, I'm pretty sure I bought S. Nigriventrus. |

You do have an UDC. And almost always the bigger fish will pick on the smaller cause thats how life is. Yellowish sheen seems to be ok just keep an eye on him and is it ok the big one or the small one? |
