I don't know much about this, but I have seen people playing WC3 on Vista, so it should be able to run on it somehow. |

It does, if your friend is unable to log onto battle.net then tell him to right click the icon he uses to play wc3 then click "run as administator" As vista normally rejects this shit. |

I have vista on another computer and i cbf to use it because like frozen said it fails. Id rather use this windows xp piece of crap because atleast it works. |

There seems as though there is a large problem on many levels with Vista and Wacraft. Some people have problems with the Direct X and other have problems with the .mpq files. I'm sure there is more too. I don't have Vista 'cause I didn't wanna waste my money so I don't really know too much but here is something to try if you have a DX problem. 1. Find the WarCraft 3 Icon (Preferably on desktop) 2. Right click on the icon 3. set the compatibility mode for: Windows XP (SP2) 4. Shut down firewall (for accessing Battle.net) It may work. I'm not sure. Vista sucks ass on so many levels and I can't wait for Windows 7. |
