Opera Browser review

Pros: Customizable skins, great UI, easy to use tabs and a very intuitive “speed dial” page that opens with a new tab. This allows you to hold 9 websites that you visit regularly for easy access every time. Opera is also extremely stable with no crashes so far. There is a button that also allows you to load a simple HTML without pictures for slow connections.

Cons: No spell checker like in Firefox. Opera Browser Takes a bit of getting used to.

Summary:
When I first began using the Opera browser I noticed that it shared many of similarities with Firefox. The UI looked much the same and it worked in basically the same way. As I continued to use this fantastic browser I began to realize the true potential of this browser. Whenever I entered a password for the first time it asked if I wanted to save this password and whenever I opened a new tab the “speed dial” feature opened up. This is a great feature that allows you to access the sites you use most with extreme ease. On my speed dial page I have Google, Youtube and more that I can access with just a click of the mouse button. You can also easily zoom in and out on the webpage so you can read all that tiny writing.

Conclusion:
The Opera Browser is a fantastic browser that so far I have liked more than Firefox. I would definitely recommend at least downloading it and giving it a go because If you are using Internet Explorer it is a great improvement. Check it out here – www.opera.com.

Another great thing about this browser is most spyware/adware is programmed for IE and firefox/mozilla since not nearly as many people use opera. I get hard anly adware/spyware since I started using this (Cant help getting any) but since I switched from FF to opera its been reduced from well over 100 a week to about 20.

Sorry if the above doesnt make much sense I tpyed it in a bit of a hurry

Lol, its true. Only 2% of people use Opera, 63% and 13% use IE and Firefox respectivly. Haven't encountered one problem yet. It is amazing, Oh, btw Daflame, I tried the google browser. Don't waste your bandwidth. Please dont.

There is a loading bar actually, takes a while to find. Its actuall in the URL bar on the right hand saide. I like it there actually. Have you tried Ctrl + H to active the history bar?

Sorry to disapoint you guys, but I tried Opera and...I didn't really like it...

I use XP and it looks terrible on it. It was pretty much gg for Opera right there.

But, I do realise, it's MUCH quicker than Firefox, which is good, but idc. I really like Firefox and ita layout and design much better. So much simplier to use.

Never judge a book by its cover!!!!!!
so wat if opera looks bad? the main point of a web browser is its
capability of hosting sites well and imo opera does that job
alot better than mozilla
