The Princess Diaries Series: Okay, so what girl doesn't want to be told one day that she's really the princess of a small country, not just some dorky kid that everyone hates? This is the prime example of a little girls dream come true, complete with a prince charming and devoted followers. I've gotten through the first four books of the series so far, with only about fourteen left to read, and all I can say is that I love the cheesy smile I get on my face when Michael goes all romantic on Mia. Twilight Yet another story that makes me do the cheesy smile at the romantic parts. If there is a more perfect guy than Edward Cullen, I'd like to read about him, or even meet him, if possible. To be eternally young and handsome, be able to read minds, and be as sweet and charming as him would make any guy worthy of my time. But, not only is the book romantic, there is a story line that doesn't involve just making out, or non making out in Bella and Edwards case. There's murder, stalking, and even some heartache as the story progresses, but it ends well, thankfully. Stephenie Meyer is a genius. New Moon The sequel to Twilight, and also a werewolf lovers dream. Edward is made to be hated in this book, at least to me, and Jacob Black, the resident Indian/werewolf comes to the rescue of heartbroken Bella in her time of need. Only, once again, there is the underlying story line that would make romance novel bashers think they've still read a great book. I can only wait impatiently for the third book in the series to see how much more torture Stephenie Meyer can make us pro-vampire we love Edward Cullen fans through. |
