The tide is a bit on the low side but still worth fishing.Any of the grass banks will fish ok,the water will only reach the bottom of the bank.Dont let this put you off as the fish will come right into very shallow water.Had plenty of good sessions in the past on this size tide from the tanks round to severn beach ,the rocks at the end of the sea wall or the slipway may be ok.(you wont be on your own there).Fish 2 hours up 2 down.Take loads of lug.Plenty of small codling about plus whiting, flounder, eels, sole and the odd conger.I fish a pulley pennel on one rod and a 3 hook flapper on the other.Fish can come at any range from 20 yards to long range. Goodluck. |
