Took the dogs for their walk today and chanced across this beautiful Raptor posing on a freshly cut hedge - my query is - is this a Common Buzzard or the rarer Honey Buzzard - not sure as it has a heck of a lot of white on it ?![]() This second picture - although not very sharp - shows the amount of white under the wings quite clearly - ![]() I know it ain't fishing related - but the wildlife is another reason that we do go fishing - well it should be or your missing out on a lot. I know you like your hawks Ernie - hope you can help me out mate

Definitely a common buzzard, but what great photos! How close were you able to get Bassman, before it took off? |

Hello China, I've had our company twitcher look at yer bird and he reckons it's an immature light form buzzard. Apparently we get a lot of the light form ones down this end of the country. Lovely photo's mate. |
