Hi Simon the channel isent fishing at all this year if you look at some of the reports you will see what i mean as for where to fish you need the right tides to fish Severn beach or aust area better still if you look at veals on local fishing they tell you the best tides for that area it is a long trek from where you are to come and blank also you only get about 3hrs fishing at the bridges hope it helps

Hi the only advice I can give is that if you are catching YTing and small Ling
(are you sure that these are Ling and not Shore Rockling)

I would not waste your money on the drive here
just read the shore catch reports and you will see what I mean.

If you must make the drive then pm me (or Ernie) I will try to help you out with maybe a mark/bait or two depending on tide and wind direction.

ignore the last post mate, this man aint even seen a cod for ages.

have a good read through the posts. maybe pm murky for some inside information.
and take a good look through the website as veals have put alot of information on many marks up and down the channel. ie: venues, tides, bait and tactics.

good luck
