TRY SHALDON SIDE, HALF WAY BETWEEN THE SHALDON BRIDGE AND THE A380 BRIDGE. ANYWHERE ALONG THERE, PERHAPS THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RIVER TO WEAR CARAVAN PARK....SMALL HOOKS AND QUARTER PEELER TIED ON HARD WITH BAIT ELASTIC, SPOSE YOU COULD TRY RAG WORM. HAVE A LOOK ON GOOGLE EARTH AT THE ESTUARY, AND MAKE NOTE OF THE DIRECTIONS. HOPE THIS HELPS

Codking - my sister-in-law and her other half help run the Passage House Inn at the top of the estuary - just under the A380 bridge - so I get down to the estuary a few times - on the higher tides most of the anglers seem to be just below the sewage works/pumping station on the shaldon side and on the lower tides they are fishing both sides on the bottom half of the estuary - but like rich said have a look at google earth and zoom right in - you will soon see the gullies where they lie - there are some better fish coming out again this year a few 3 & 4 pounders! |

Salt water doesn't taste the same as the fish that swim in it! If you don't need it - put the damn thing back
