Welcome to Vaioa,

a desert triumvirate of Hold, Weyr, and Mine. Thread's return and bandit raiding brought strife between weyr and hold, but the bandits' recent defeat has returned the region to an uneasy peace. Now, a shipwreck on a forgotten continent and the decision to settle this rediscovered land has opened up a world of opportunity to Vaioa, if only they can handle the dangers.

Shut Up and....Date?; Blind Date! Tag: Ebony's Bitsa

A date? Who in the world signed her up not only for a date, but a blind date? Oh. Ooooh. There was only one name that came to mind and he was currently lounging on their ledge pretending to be as innocent as he could. He wasn't fooling her. Not after he'd spent so much time attempting to convince her that she needed to go out and 'chase' more. "Faranelth. What did you do?"

Me? I've done nothing. Well at least nothing that would warrant that tone of voice. The blue replied, brushing off the accusing tone Merch had thrown at him. He'd honestly not done what she thought he had, merely...talked to the right people. Or dragons in this case.

"Right, so now I've been signed up to attended a date with some woman who I don't even know and you've got nothing to do with it? Unlikely." Merch replied, chewing on her lip as she made her way to her wardrobe to stare at the items there. All of them not what she would imagine one should wear on a date. Briefly her mind flicked to the fact that she might've specifically been signed up for a date with a woman. Before she could ask the question, Far was already answering it.

Anyone who knows you well enough knows that you don't even give males a second glance. Besides me of course. The last part was added with a rather smug tone of voice. That and the only time you've been interested in someone they just so happened to be a woman. He reminded and got a distracted hum in response.

"I suppose that's true." Not that she'd really given the matter of which gender she was attracted to very often. She had honestly just stumbled upon her attraction to Oana. Groaning to herself, she crossed her arms over her chest. "I have no idea what I'm supposed to wear. Or do. Oh faranth, I have no idea what I'm doing! This is a horrible idea! Maybe...maybe I can just not go?"

And leave your date waiting for you? Absolutely not! Far would not have her backing out just because she was nervous. It would look bad on the both of them if she did so, besides she had him to help her. As for what you should wear, something that you don't wear everyday. So no leathers and something with color! Oh, well that took out quite a bit of her wardrobe. Well at least Far had managed to convince her that she needed a few nicer outfits than the practical ones she preferred.

After several outfit changes and plenty of commentary by her picky blue, it looked as if Merch was finally dressed in what he thought would be appropriate. Her nicest black pants paired with a blue tunic that just about matched Far's hide, and freshly cleaned boots. She'd even decided to let her hair fall down naturally after brushing it a few times out of nervousness.

You should also not show up empty handed. Faranelth pointed out helpfully, watching his Merch with an expression that was half smug and half amused. Her appearance would be the best he could make do with since he hadn't been able to convince her to buy more fashionable clothing. It was her awkwardness with others that would be the part he worried about. It was a good thing she had a partner like him to help her out though!

Frowning, Merch cast a quick glance around her weyr. Just what could she bring to a last minute date? If she had time to plan or maybe even knew a little about this person she could've prepared properly...oh! Letting out a noise of victory, the woman quickly moved to grab the wine that she'd hidden. With some of the other former Kassites coming to see her so often she eventually decided to have some around just in case. Especially with Sam and Marios asking the questions they did so often. Okay, now she was ready. Hopefully. "Jays, I don't think I ca-"

GO! Far huffed, flicking his tail against the stone in slight aggravation. If it makes you feel better take the green one.

That was actually a good idea. Giving a small gesture to the green who'd been watching curiously the whole time, Nali was quick to push from the bed and curl herself around Merch's neck. There, now she actually felt better. Nali wouldn't let her do anything stupid. With that in mind she stepped over to plant a kiss on Far's nose before turning and heading out. Now she just needed to find whoever this Bitsa was. "Guess we can just wonder around where they announced the dates? She may be there..." If she showed at least. Oh no, now there were more things for her to worry about.

"OK. What about this one?" Bitsa twirled in place to give Ikith a good view of the dress she was wearing. It was a simple white dress with little blue and green flowers embroidered all over it. It had taken some adjustment to get it right when she'd made it to keep it from falling off of her. Being strapless made it so she had to be careful how she moved. Her hair was let down in all its wavy glory and with no braid to hold most of it up it fell past the middle of her back. She normally kept her hair trimmed to the middle of her shoulder blades but having been so busy with Ikith it had slipped her mind.

Ikith watched his rider with a critical eye. He took his job as judge of Bitsa's outfit very seriously. This was her first 'date' with another woman. Sure she often spent time with Gwen but that didn't count. Gwen was a friend. This was a potential MATE. At least that's how he saw it since Bitsa had tried to explain what a date even was. Though he was confused as to why Gwen wasn't a potential mate too. After all, Bitsa really, really, really liked the bubbly woman. But 'just friends' was the excuse Bitsa always gave him.

It's perfect! Much better than the eighth one you had tried on. It didn't have the right colors. Ikith thrummed feeling confident he chose wisely. It made Bitsa snort with laughter though.

"Bout time. After trying on nine dresses I was afraid I'd have to just go naked to make you happy," She said shaking her head then stopped realizing what she'd said. Narrowing her eyes at the dragon she pointed a finger at him. "No. Don't even think about it. I'm not doing that. I have a dress, we're doing this clothed."

What? It would save you the trouble of taking it off later!

"Ikith...that's not what this is for...It's just two people spending time together. Some food, some conversation, and enjoying the company. That's all. No kissing, no touching, and NO sex. Got it?" She crossed her arms while staring at her dragon with a stern expression. Since they had moved into their own weyrs and many of their previous restrictions were gone, Ikith kept pushing her. Poking. Prodding. Forcing her to face some pent up wants and needs that she'd kept under a tight lid for his sake.

Don't get mad at me cause you can't stop thinking about Gwen naked and wanna-

"IKITH! Her face burned from the blush that bloomed there and Ikith let out a loud growling sound that mimicked laughter. "Faranth, you're horrible! Just...get me to where they made that announcement, ok? And no more teasing. I'm nervous enough as it is."

Ikith huffed at his spoiled sport of a rider before following her out to the ledge and lowering himself to let her on. With a little help from her dragon she got on his back with surprising grace despite how she was dressed. He pushed off from the ledge and mostly glided down to the Bowl. They hadn't really planned how they'd meet with Bitsa's 'date' beyond seeing if they showed up outside the Dining Hall. Though the meeting wasn't planned, everything else was. Bitsa had managed to sweet-talked her way into some well prepared food from the kitchens. Didn't have to lie or anything either. It was all nice and hot waiting in their weyr. The whole date had been unexpected. Bitsa had gathered with everyone else out of curiosity only to find out she'd been put on the list. With some poking here and there she found out that it had been someone she used to work with that did it. Thinking she wouldn't do it. Bitsa took that as a challenge and decided she'd make the most of it.

Oh look! Is that her? I bet it is. Ikith practically chirped as he went in for a landing. There was someone already there waiting and he let out a soft bugle to announce his presence. Sticking the landing he flared his wings dramatically and lowered down for Bitsa to get off.

'Show off.' She rolled her eyes at her dragon and slid off carefully. Brushing herself off she approached the other woman waiting there and tilted her head to look at her curiously. "Are you...Merch? If so, it's good to meet you. I'm Bitsa." She offered her hand to shake and gave the woman a brilliant smile. Something she'd been practicing lately. Actually smiling at people again. "Sorry if I've kept you waiting. Was preparing for tonight."

Yes, she tried on nine dresses just for this. Ikith chimed in to earn his prize of a glare from his rider. The blush was an extra bonus. What? You did.

"Erm...yes. Didn't know what to wear." Bitsa mumbled softly while suddenly feeling very self conscious. Looking the other woman over she wondered if she overdressed. Then was struck with the thought that her 'date' was actually...really good looking. Not that it mattered. She had nothing planned beyond a pleasant evening. But still...At least she'd have a pleasant view.

Hearing the bugle, both Merch and Nali looked up to see a blue approaching. A young one too, was her date one of the weyrlings? She panicked for a moment before realizing that they probably wouldn't have signed up if their dragon had a problem with it. Once that was settled, she watched as the young dragon made a dramatic landing. She couldn't stop the smile that tugged at her lips. Well, he certainly reminded her of Far. Hopefully this blue wouldn't end up quite as bad as him though.

Once she saw her date, Merch was suddenly aware that she may have been underdressed. Or was that what you were supposed to wear on a date? Oh, she was talking to her. Blinking, Merch gave Bitsa a somewhat shy smile before reaching out to shake the offered hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Bitsa."

See, I told you there was nothing to worry about. She showed up, and she obviously has good taste. Shame I can't get you dressed up like that.

Dresses would just get messy. Best to stay with the clothing I already have. Ignoring Far's huff of disapproval, she chuckled quietly at the fact that Bitsa had done the same as she had. Now she didn't feel quite as bad about it. "I did the same thing." Merch confessed, smoothing her palms against imaginary wrinkles on her shirt. "Faranelth was quite picky about what I would wear to this. I wasn't sure what we would be doing so I thought this was a good compromise." Eyes widened slightly. "I mean not that you're overdressed or anything...I mean you're gorgeous!" Nali let out a quiet bark of laughter as Merch's cheeks turned pink. Ugh, not even five minutes into this date and she was already blurting things out.

No, no. It was a good thing, females like it when you compliment them.

Mentally groaning, Merch quickly held up the wine she'd brought and gave the other woman an awkward smile. "Um, I brought wine? I wasn't sure if you might like it but I've heard some of my friends say that this was a good, uh, vintage and..." You're rambling. "I thought you might like it." The blond finished, holding it out to the weyrling. Right, she would have to watch out for the rambling if she wanted to leave a good impression.

Bitsa had the distinct feeling she was going to be in SO much trouble the moment Merch smiled. Lovely smile, good firm handshake, and good looks. She was slowly starting to wonder if she really wanted nothing to happen tonight. The moment she felt Ikith's smugness though she clamped down her second guesses and smiled back. She chuckled when Merch admitted that she'd done the same thing when dressing.

"Ikith was the same way. He kept coming up with different reasons I couldn't wear certain ones." Not that she minded too much. She'd have been even more critical about it if it had been left to her own decision. Listening to Merch she bit her lip to keep from laughing. Only partly failing as a soft snicker escaped and her ego purred at being called 'gorgeous'. It had been a long time since someone had complimented her like that. And sounded truly sincere. Smoothing out her own imaginary wrinkled on her dress she stood a little straighter.

D'aaaw! Are you preening? That's so cute! Came her blue's teasing voice and she bristled before turning to glare at him again. His laughter rang in her head as she turned back to Merch blushing as well.

"Thank you. You're looking rather beautiful yourself." Bitsa said with an appraising look over Merch and a slightly playful smirk. "Or would you prefer me to call you handsome? Either way you're pretty attractive." She actually said that out loud. Well no point taking it back now. Looking at the offered wine she smiled brightly and took it gently. "This IS a good vintage! You're friends have good taste."

We should probably get to the food you know. Before it gets cold. Ikith offered to his rider and she nodded slightly.

"I have a dinner prepared in my weyr if...you want to continue this...'date'. We might have to walk though. I don't know if Ikith could carry both of us."

Pffft! I can do it! No problem. Just hop on. It's not even that far. Ikith wasn't about to let someone think he was weak. He could do it. He knew he could. So what if he was still young? He'd seen smaller dragons carry two people before. He lowered himself down to let them get on.

"Ikith...I don't think its a good idea." Bitsa said while starting to fidget with the wine in her hands. Ikith had a bad habit of getting suddenly extremely stubborn about things. Particularly things people claim he can't do. If he started another one of his bouts in front of Merch she'd be mortified.

Merch felt a bit of relief that it wasn't only her dragon that seemed to insist on having their rider look their best. Or as close to their best as they could, in her case. Bista though, she looked a hundred times better than herself, or what she'd imagined. And you were worried. Faranelth's voice was smug as he teased her about all the unnecessary thoughts her mind had been filled with her way down from their weyr.

Well, at least Bitsa didn't outright laugh at her. There was the faint sound of snickering but it looked as if she took the compliment for what it was. Merch would've liked it if she'd been able to actually compliment the other woman instead of just blurting it out but...well it still worked out the same she supposed.

Watching as she was looked over, Merch fought not to shift around awkwardly. She couldn't remember the last time she'd been looked at like that. Oh right, she had never had someone give her that look. Blinking, the blond tilted her head slightly when asked if she would prefer to be called handsome. "Beautiful and handsome mean the same, just used for different genders. Though I'm not sure why." The last part was said mostly to herself before her brain fully registered that Bitsa had been complimenting her appearance. "Oh...oh! Uhm, thank you."

Very smooth.

Oh shush, you're the chaser. Not me.

Well maybe if you chased more you wouldn't be so bad at this.

Deciding to ignore Far before he started his own ramblings about her lack of chasing, Merch gave Bitsa a slightly relieved smile. "Oh good! I wasn't sure if they were correct as they were drunk at the time and I don't actually drink very often. But I'm glad it's to your liking." At least she'd done one thing right, that was more than she was expecting. So far so good! Wait...dinner was going to be in her weyr? She could already hear her blue's laughter.

Turning to look over at Ikith as he offered to carry the both of them, Merch gave him a quick look over. He wasn't as large as Far was at this age but then again so far none of the other blues were even close to that size. So he probably wasn't the best model. However, she wasn't going to let Ikith push himself and was secretly glad that Bitsa seemed to be thinking the same. Teeth sunk into her lip as she debated on what to do. "Ah...well how about you take your Bitsa, Ikith? I can have Far come down and we'll follow you two up to your weyr?"

She offered a smile to the weyrling pair. "He'll be nosy about the whole evening anyways so maybe he and Ikith here could meet and..." She paused before running a hand through her hair and rolling her eyes at herself. "Well, Far will be judging me on how awkward I am. I suppose Ikith can do so as well?" Speaking of the blue. Far would you mind?

I would never judge you. Faranelth huffed, even as he was pushing himself to stand and unfolding his wings. Well, much at least. But I would like to see this Bitsa in person. Gliding from their ledge, he easily made it to where they were. His landing was not as dramatic as the younger blue's, but that was because his mere presence was just enough. In his mind at least.

Cute. That was all Bitsa could think of when listening and watching Merch. They obviously didn't have that much experience with such things. Bitsa didn't have much room to talk. Normally in this situation she was putting on a show, a familiar mask to fool the other person that she was the definition of confident. After throwing that mask away she felt just as awkward as anyone and possibly ten times more vulnerable. A smile tugged at her lips as the compliment she gave nearly went right over the woman's head till the last moment.

"You're welcome." Bitsa practically chirped. It felt good giving someone a genuinely nice compliment and it having the same wonderful result of flustering someone.

You're doing great, Bitty! Keep it up! Came her blue's encouragement and it made her smile grow. He actually sounded proud of her and that never failed to raise her spirits.

"Definitely did a good job. And hey, drunk people know their stuff you know. Gotta give them some credit." She said with a chuckle and winked at the woman. Was she flirting? Of course she was. It didn't feel strange either. Ever since she realized men just weren't her thing she came to notice how much easier and natural it was to flirt with women over men. With the male persuasion it always felt even more of a forced act than anything. Now with a woman it seemed to just come so easily.

Oh. Ok. That's a good idea. I forgot you had someone too. Can't wait to meet him! Ikith rumbled happily and Bitsa breathed a sigh of relief. No tantrum and no quarrels. If things kept going so smoothly she was going to wonder if the whole thing was some bizarre dream.

"Oh Ikith will have his share of questions about you I know. Better him ask your dragon than you all night." Bitsa said with a laugh and smirked. She could tell the night was going to be VERY amusing if Ikith had someone to keep him occupied. "Ikith will join him in laughing at how awkward we both are. I'm sure of it."

Whaaaat? I would NEVER! He even huffed with indignation at the accusation.

"Oh yes you would. Don't deny it." She teased and her dragon huffed again but more in good humor. Cause he knew it was true. As they bantered they heard the noise of wings in the air. Ikith looked up first just as Faranelth moved in for a landing. He bugled a greeting and Bitsa smiled while admiring the blue. "Very handsome. Bet you two look marvelous in the air."

Yes. Fine looking. We should probably get going. Don't want the food to get cold. There was an odd tone to his voice as he spoke all of a sudden. Bitsa looked at him with a raised brow.

"Well...Ahem...he is right. But we'll have proper introductions at the weyr, yes?" She said moving to Ikith who dropped low to help Bitsa get on already.

[ooc: I'm so sorry this took so long to get to. If you wish you can move things forward to the weyr.]

Well, now that she'd managed to fluster herself after almost not recognizing a compliment and Bitsa didn't seem put off by it, that could be a good sign? At least she wasn't completely ruining this date thing before it had even started. Yet. Far said teasingly. But don't worry, I will be here to make sure you don't screw up too much. Oh, my hero. You're the one who got me into this in the first place.

"Well, I dunno about giving those two credit. They might let it go to their heads." Merch joked, ignoring the fact that her cheeks were once again turning pink. Why did she wink at her? She wasn't flirting with her right? Shards, she wished she knew more about that sort of stuff. Then she would've been more prepared for things like this. Actually, Oana had flirted with her before but this was someone else who she didn't know. She could just have winked at her for some other reason, right?

Merch.

Ah, right. No over thinking things.

Quickly shaking those thoughts away, Merch returned her attention back to the other blue in time to hear him agree to her bringing Far down. He seemed happy about getting to meet her dragon as well. Another small smile appeared on her lips. "I'm sure he can't wait to meet you either, Ikith." She assured before turning her gaze back to Bitsa as she started talking. "Oh? Well good, I'll be busy trying to keep myself from acting too foolish. Besides, Far likes informing people about me it seems. I'm pretty sure he was the one who made a comment about this blind date thing to someone and got me signed up in the first place." As if it wasn't obvious enough that she had no experience with dates.

Tilting her head when Bitsa commented about how awkward they both would be, Merch couldn't help but be a bit confused. "Awkward? You? But, I'm sure someone as beautiful as you would've had some experience with dates?" Right? There was no way the other girl hadn't had attention from others before. Surely she'd done at least one of these? Blinking as she realized how that might've been taken, Merch tried to back pedal. "Not that it's a bad thing to be awkward! I mean, I'm quite awkward around other people all the time. Obviously, I suppose. But I guess it's just surprising that someone like you would be awkward." She was just digging herself into a deeper hole, wasn't she?

Thankfully she was saved by the arrival of Faranelth. Quickly moving towards her blue, she was more than happy when he brought his head down and pressed his nose against her chest to calm her down and offer comfort. Merch fought the urge to throw her arms around his head and instead turned around and offered the weyrling pair a smile. At the compliment from Bitsa, Far turned his head to look over the others and nodded. Thank you. Merch makes sure I look as good as possible. And yes, we do look great when we're in the air. Very focused, Mine tends to be. There was a hint of amusement and pride in his voice. Merch just rolled her eyes and gave his head a playful shove away from her.

"Right, don't give him too many compliments. He's got a big enough ego as it is." Merch teased in return, a slight smirk pulling at her lips. Turning her attention back to Ikith, even she noticed how his speech had changed slightly. But this was the first time she'd met him so she couldn't tell if this was normal or not. "Ah, right." She'd almost forgotten about heading up to the other woman's weyr. When Bitsa moved to climb up her blue, Merch headed around Far as he dropped for her ease of climbing. She did have a bit further to climb up than her date after all. Lead on Ikith, we will follow you two.

The older pair waited until Bitsa and Ikith were in the air before they took off after. It was a short flight up to the weyrling's weyr but it was enough for Merch to feel slightly more relaxed. Now that Far was going to be with her things couldn't go too wrong. Once they'd landed and Merch had slid down her blue's side, Far moved closer to the edge of the ledge. It was Ikith's ledge and he didn't really want to intrude. Okay that was a total lie, he did but Merch had managed to get him to be more polite to others. For the most part.

"Ah, real introductions now?" Merch asked, giving the younger pair another smile before using a hand to motion towards where Far was. "That's Faranelth. Far, Bitsa and Ikith."

It's nice to offically meet the two of you. Far replied, dipping his head down like a bow.

"Hmm, you're right. Ikith's head is big enough as it is." Bitsa said with a smirk as Ikith huffed at her teasing. He found the sudden flirting entertaining and sent waves of encouragement. Bitsa didn't now if she'd keep it up though, even if it DID feel rather nice. She chuckled at how Ikith was puffing himself up to get ready to meet the other blue. As if he wanted to impress the older dragon.

"I got signed up by someone that thought it would embarrass me. Ended up going with it to spite them." She grinned feeling rather proud of herself over it. When Merch showed surprise in her words about being awkward she couldn't help a small smirk. The compliments made her feel warm inside. She didn't hear them much anymore, Ikith not included. Merch's flustered words just make her smile grow. The woman was simply darling. She was going to really enjoy the night. Before she could respond to it all, Faranelth arrived. "You're welcome! And I think I'll feel safer knowing you two are up there flaming Thread."

They were mounting up and Ikith only nodded to Faranelth. He was still posturing a bit in front of the older blue. Ikith had never really felt the need to make himself look better than others. He had Bitsa, what else could he want? But he still had moments where he'd see a bigger dragon, or older, and want to make them see him as something special. If HE looked good, then Bitsa looked good too. Soon they were in the air and landing before long. Ikith helped Bitsa carefully dismount and waited on his ledge for the other two. When Faranelth arrived and kept his distance after letting his rider off Ikith decided to relax and approached the other blue.

Do you wanna watch? We can go in and sit on my couch if you want. I think we can both fit. Ikith offered with friendly greens swirling in his eyes. Being closer to his own space made him feel less like showing off and more like sharing the night's experience with him. Think they'll have fun tonight?

"Good to meet you Faranelth.~ I hope you two enjoy yourselves tonight." Bitsa smiled and waved Merch inside. "Come in! I got plenty to eat. And we can pop open this wine." She said as she went in and headed right for her table covered with dishes.

Ah, it seemed that now that the other blue was on his own turf he was feeling more relaxed. Good, as entertaining as it might've been just to watch Merch's first date getting to do so with company was much better. I would love to watch. It's one of the reasons I came down, besides giving mine a lift. Far replied, amusement coloring his voice as he shifted a bit further onto the ledge.

While it was true that Ikith was much smaller than him, he was also a pretty big blue. Glancing into the weyr to inspect the couch, the older dragon gave a mental shrug. Hey, it might've not be on his list to share a couch with another male but it got him closer to the action on the inside. It's your couch so you can go first. I'll arrange myself around you. What? He had manners! Sometimes. At the question from the other blue, Faranelth gave a small hum. I am hoping that have fun. Mine could use it. That and I think she needs the practice with this dating thing. Hopefully yours won't mind it if she makes a few mistakes.

When Bitsa waved at her to follow her inside, Merch couldn't help but falter for a moment. This would be the first person's weyr she went into who hadn't been one of her classmates. And it was a date. Giving a quick shake of her head, the blond quickly moved to follow the weyrling inside. As soon as she saw the table that had been covered with dishes a slightly bigger smile than her usual one appeared. "Well, you were a lot more prepared for this than I was. Still want to say that you don't have much experience with this sort of thing?" She was joking of course, but the fact that the weyrling had more of an idea on what to do for a date did make her a bit more nervous.

Thankfully Far was here though so if she did anything wrong he would correct her. Right, she could do this. Just had to think of it as a learning experience. "Um, is there anything I can do? Maybe grab some cups for the wine?" Best to at least do something so that she felt like she'd contributed a small amount. Obviously she'd have to try and find some way to thank the weyrling for the effort after all this.

Already trying to find an excuse to see her again?

What?! Noo! Just trying to be polite!

Ikith rumbled happily when his invite was accepted and as they went inside he realized that to fit on his couch they'd have to snuggle a bit. That was fine. To him it was anyway. He bobbed his head to Far and moved to position himself on the couch. Making very sure to leave plenty of space for the other blue to fit. I think my Bitty needs it too. And mine won't mind mistakes. She's more worried about making her own mistakes. A quick mental jab from his rider had him holding back laughter. I think it'll all go great. Mine already thinks yours is very 'charming' and 'cute'. Those are good things if I recall.

Bitsa had to keep from groaning out loud hearing Ikith tell Faranelth such things. Her blue couldn't seem to keep his mouth shut at times. Not that it mattered, since he was telling the truth. Focus Bitsa. Be a good host! She smiled brightly as Merch commented on the spread. "Trust me. I have little. I'm more used to others preparing these things." And that was the end of that explanation. Going any further would probably lead to a really awkward telling of why that was. Bitsa really didn't want to ruin the night so soon. Ikith of course knew where her thoughts were leading and helped her push the negative ones down. He wouldn't let them darken her fun night. He'd pump her full of positive encouragement!

She'd always be grateful for Ikith's presence. The dragon truly knew how to make her feel confident and cared for. Hearing Merch ask to help she smiled and pointed at some empty glasses. "There are some cups there. And feel free to dig in any time! I know I've built up an appetite myself." As she spoke she was popping a berry into her mouth. It had just enough bitterness to it that she could ignore how sweet it was. 'Sweet' had just never been something she was into. Which more than often didn't surprise people that used to know her.

Don't be so nervous! You're doing great!

'Easy for you to say! You don't have to worry about what she's thinking.'

Her biggest mistake was thinking that Ikith would leave it there. Just drop it and let her wallow in her own nerves. Not her dragon. Not in a million Turns.

Miss Merch lady? Mine wishes to know what you're thinking! Do you like it? Also, she thinks you're 'adorable'. Ikith then silently laughed at how embarrassed Bitsa was feeling and how red her face was turning.

"I...am so sorry..." Bitsa groaned while putting her face in her hand. "Just ignore him."
