Welcome to Vaioa,

a desert triumvirate of Hold, Weyr, and Mine. Thread's return and bandit raiding brought strife between weyr and hold, but the bandits' recent defeat has returned the region to an uneasy peace. Now, a shipwreck on a forgotten continent and the decision to settle this rediscovered land has opened up a world of opportunity to Vaioa, if only they can handle the dangers.

Visani needed. Klah. Neededneedneed. Must have the delicious substance that was given to them by whatever entity must have watched over this place at the same time they'd been given firelizards and numbweed. Although that entity apparently had no control over the fall of thread. Which was a shame but at least Pern still had Klah.

As said before. Needed. Her head was ACHING no klah equal horrible caffeine withdrawal symptoms. Though small weyrbrats and candidates did not do good for aching head and lack of Klah. Visani rubbed her temple against the slow ache while she waited in the dining cavern for her personal pot of klah. Which she would take, to her room. To consume. And her day would finally be good.

Visani'mine. You're scaring me. Emanth looked down from his ledge towards the dining cavern. Get food while you're there or your belly will bother you later.

Except for… Small Weyrlings. Who. Obviously, needed Klah too. Obviously. Or perhaps some other sort of breakfast item that would perhaps sustain them in their multitude of activities involving baby dragonets. If they didn't need something than they wouldn't, be. In her way. These new weyrlings were still wide-eyed and as chipper as a newly oiled firelizard. Unlike the older ones who found anywhere possible to sleep at any point in time.

They'd yet to get smart.

But oh, that sure would change. In that moment Visani was reminded why she couldn't possibly be a weyrlingmaster or assistant. It gave her a small amount of satisfaction to see the youngsters staggering around with bleary looks on their faces.
