Welcome to Vaioa,

a desert triumvirate of Hold, Weyr, and Mine. Thread's return and bandit raiding brought strife between weyr and hold, but the bandits' recent defeat has returned the region to an uneasy peace. Now, a shipwreck on a forgotten continent and the decision to settle this rediscovered land has opened up a world of opportunity to Vaioa, if only they can handle the dangers.

How do you view your characters?

I'm probably somewhere in the middle. I take a long time to develop a character in my mind, figuring out all the things that make them tick (even down to what they do when they're bored, what foods they hate, etc); once I'm done and put them on a board or in a roleplay, I know them so well that I know what they would do. I can force them to do things if I need to, but it is much more difficult than writing them as fits their profile.

It kinda like rping one of your best friends. You know what they would do in any given situation, and that makes it seem like they have a little voice in your head. X)

More correctly "both." It depends on the character. I have characters that are very easily brought around to "my way" of seeing things. I have others, on the other hand who come with warning labels, disclaimers, and the occasional apology because they are very strong willed, opinionated, and often times rude/violent. Generally the more aggressive/outgoing the character is, the harder it is to dictate what they do and the more I find myself the conveyer of misfortune xD
