Posted Image Name: Siegfried Wolfram Manfred von Richthofen Nickname: Dark Knight Callsign: Dark Knight Age: 20 Gender: Male Origin: German-Prussian Birthplace: Idolo Thansis, Jupitris D.O.B.: January 31, AD 3395 Blood Type: O+ Genetic Type: Natural Hair Color: Red Eye Color: Purple Height: 6'1 Weight: 180 lbs Faction: Galaxy Federation Biography: Born into an aristocratic family of German and Prussian roots, Siegfried was the second of four children. He was accompanied with two younger brothers and an elder sister. His father, Wolfram, was a Major in the Grand Army of the Alliance, while his mother, Helena, was a gymnastics icon. While his family had little political influence, they were nonetheless respected by the Jovian Regent. This was no surprise, as the first man of his great lineage was none other than the Red Baron. From childhood, Siegfried was taught by his mother that overcoming adversity is man's greatest triumph. He heeded those words and since then has never backed down from a challenge. Throughout his days at school, Siegfried frequently found himself becoming the protector of his siblings against bullies. He often returned home battered and bruised, sometimes with his fists stained with the blood of his adversaries. While Siegfried's father often chided him for getting into trouble, he was nonetheless pleased because of his willingless to protect his siblings from harm. It was no surprise when Siegfried declared his ambition to become a soldier in order to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a hero like his father was before him. Siegfried's mother passed away one week before he was admitted into Antioch Garden Academy. Her death affected Siegfried greatly but her last words telling him to keep moving forward inspired him to reach his goals. Siegfried had little problems keeping up with the rigorous training methods of the Spartan training program, impressing his peers with sheer determination and guts. On weekends, Siegfried frequently trained in the gravitational chamber to keep himself in peak physical condition, workouts that would prove useful in his later career as a mobile suit pilot and field soldier. On one occasion, Siegfried was mistakenly registered as a Coordinator. He eventually found his love for mobile suits like his father before him. Siegfried's ability to pilot a mobile suit paralleled an experienced Coordinator or a developed Newtype. With outstanding leadership, an incredible response time, a sharp situational awareness, and polished combat adaptation, Siegfried was deemed the total package by the Chancellor of the institution. He was also known for being completely dedicated to his mission, which made him the ideal soldier for the Sol Liberation Army and their goals. Just a month following his graduation, Siegfried was drafted into the Sol Liberation Army. His vast potential eventually earned him a spot in the newly formed special forces unit, the White Knights. Siegfried became acquainted with its leader and a rising star in the Liberation Army, codenamed Lancelot. Three years later, the two of them transformed the White Knights into the most decorated and also the most feared unit in the Liberation Army. At eighteen, Siegfried was promoted to the high rank of Commander, three years after joining. When Lancelot was tasked by King Shinobu to undergo a top secret mission involving the Anima Relic, Siegfried was temporarily appointed as leader of the White Knights, as he was the closest and most trusted adjutant to Lancelot. Siegfried used this opportunity to draft his two younger brothers Lothar and Christian into the unit. Following the Imperial Army's decisive defeat at the hands of the Galaxy Federation, King Shinobu declared an all-out war, rallying the remnants of the Imperial Army to his cause. Bolstered by their huge increase in numbers, Siegfried led the White Knights on two different campaigns and successfully halts the Federation advance into Alliance territory. Lancelot made his return following the White Knight's recent success. The return of Lancelot however, brought disharmony amongst the White Knights. Siegfried was one of the few who noticed the dramatic change in the man he once respected as a leader and a friend. Lancelot's abnormal preachings in regards to rebuilding the world through destruction disturbed him greatly. Siegfried was taken aback when he first saw Lancelot's colossal increase in strength during their first mission reunited. This newfound strength however, enabled the Liberation Army to quickly annihilate the Federation armies one by one in what seemed to be a very one sided war. Though the Federation had their backs against the wall, Siegfried's relationship with Lancelot deteriorated due to conflicting ideals. Their growing tension soon reached a boiling point when Lancelot began attacking allied units during battle. It was the final straw when Lancelot brutally murdered Lothar and Christian during a victorious battle after the former saw them as burdens. Prior to the Liberation Army's final battle at Fifth Jerusalem, a charismatic general named Vindel Mauser who considered Lancelot a threat to the entire universe, staged a coup d'etat against the Alliance hierarchy, who thought otherwise. Siegfried was quick to join the rebellion, putting his faith in General Mauser. In the months that followed, Vindel's rebellion did not bear fruit as the unstoppable force of Lancelot and the Liberation Army proved too much. Siegfried agreed to follow Vindel on his quest of travelling to another dimension hoping to avoid the wonton destruction Lancelot inflicted on his universe. With their plan set in motion, a last ditch effort by the White Knights threatened their success. Hoping to settle the score with his ex-leader, Siegfried volunteered to stay behind while the rest of his men went through the portal. In a bloodthirsty melee, Siegfried singlehandedly annihilated every member of the White Knights before engaging Lancelot in a duel that took a heavy toll on his body and mobile suit. Forced to retreat, Siegfried successfully makes the jump before Lancelot delivered the final blow. He rejoins Vindel's group three days later and required a week's medical treatment by his new patrons and former enemies, the Galaxy Federation. Siegfried was then offered sanctuary within Etrenank with Vindel and the rest. With nowhere else to go, Siegfried devotes his services within Federation ranks, convinced that his newfound allies within the Sacred Empire of Solaris possessed the power he needed to prevent from watching the universe around him burn as the previous one did. |
