Spoiler: click to toggle Well, I guess basically, the she-cat in the shamisen wanted to meet again with the man who used to play it, embodied by or "living on" inside the plectrum, that she "loved". They couldn't meet again, right? The man must have given the plectrum as payment some time ago. The plectrum broke after playing the shamisen one last time... So the wish has been granted, through the customer. And what Watanuki did for the customer was to search the storeroom for the plectrum and stay quiet about his being disturbed by the idea of a cat's skin stripped from his back to become a shamisen... That's how I understood the chapter. Now there hasn't been payment yet, has it? I hope we'll see it in next chapter What is Doumeki doing on the splash page? That must be because we all want to see him even when he's not inside the chapter. FAN-SERVICE ATTACK!!! \o/ (Beautiful thing, though.)
