Yellow Eye; A Tale of Life, Love and Lust in 3 Acts

I've begun work on an ambitious new project, which I'm titling "Yellow Eye". The concept of the project is to tell a central story through 3 points of view and how one moral decision that millions of people are faced with every year can effect so much more than the parties involved.

I've only just finished the first act. I don't want to post it all until I've completed the entire story, but I have included the first Scene of Act 1.

------------------------

Yellow Eye
Act 1: "Patriarch"
Scene 1: "Genesis"

Tools lie here and there
One for every purpose
Yet none of them could possibly prepare
My falsely callused heart

To create, to destroy
I wield the power and means for both
I'm a man of faith, good character
So how is it this came to be?

You came to me in your moment of need
I took you in my arms
Promised you it'd be alright
Slyly asked if you'd stay the night

Will this make things better?
If you pour out your heart to me
If I force my body onto you
Will it make things right?

Just this once, tell me you still love me
Just this once, tell me you still need me

--------------------------

So, what do you think? Would you be interested in reading the rest of the project? Any guesses as to what the story is?

Here's the rest of the first act. Hopefully this will help you make a little sense out of what I'm going for here.

-------

Act 1: "Patriarch"
Scene 2: "Evacuation"

Split "V" on the table
I've seen it so many times before
But this time is different, foreign, strange
My brain is inline, but my heart feels incapable

Sleeping sound in anaesthesia
If it weren't for your slowly rising chest
I'd swear you were dead
I'd almost rather be

I'll inject the ingredients to kill
Where once I had hoped to create
Can you ever forgive me?
This silence will forever resonate

The syringe has been drained
The scalpal has made its incisions
There in the cervix its framed
The weight of our decision

With eyes closed, I'll dispose of it
With eyes closed, I'll end us

-------------------------

Act 1: "Patriarch"
Scene 3: "Causatum"

Dear Lord, can you ever forgive a man like me?
I create to destroy others endeavors
Never once have I stopped to consider
That you are the God I aspire to be

You create for me to destroy
I take them all on willingly
Break down their undeveloped minds
In hopes of making others happy

Their money talks
Drowns out the unborn screams

This time my heart
Seems to tune them in

This time the scalpal
Has walked down my own flesh street

Dear Lord, how could you ever give life to a man like me?

-------------------------

That's it for Act 1. Lemme' know what you think.

Close.

It does involve a doctor, and he is feeling guilt for what he does.

But what kind of doctor is he? What does he do to others? He performs abortions. This time, he performs an abortion on his own ex-wife because as I described in Scene 1, they had a little fling and she ended up pregnant.
