Tsunayoshi Sawada
We've all done it for one series or another that we really like, I'm sure. Made a custom character, I mean. It could be for roleplaying purposes, or just to suit your fancy for no reason at all. Well, now's your chance to share with us the character that you've created to fit into the series in some way or another. Be is a Mary-Sue, Gary0Stu, etc.

Mine is a character I use for Roleplay purposes.

Background Information:
20 years old, Taellra Vinn would seem like a normal girl to just about anyone that meets her. She's shy, polite, and kind, and hates to fight. But that's only on the surface. Deep inside, Taellra has two split personalities that take over on occasion, and she's a member of the mafia. Holder of the Moon ring, Taellra is the eighth guardian to Tsunayoshi Sawada, his Lunar guardian. Given the ring by Reborn, Taellra was not so keen on her job at first, and only came out at night to watch over her new "boss," whom she didn't even like at first. A mere kid, Taellra didn't see how someone like him could be a Mafia Boss. But over time, she opened up to him and most of the others around her.

When she was little, her parents got tangled up in an issue involving the mafia, and were killed for something they didn't even have a part in. This spawned a strong hatred in her, and a new side of her began to show at times. Taellra was taken in by her mother's sister after a while, who raised her and looked after her, doing whatever was necessary for her to be happy. Coping with Taellra's new-found darker side was not pleasant. Taellra left when she was 15 and found work and a place to stay on her own, going on routine visits to a psychiatrist. Taellra held a grudge against the mafia for a long time, and tried to refuse Reborn when he handed her the ring, but Reborn was sly and told her that if she joined, she would gain the power to take revenge for her parents, and she accepted. Whether or not she regrets her choice is unknown.

For the most part, Taellra is docile. She doesn't argue, she never says anything hurtful or cruel, and she does not like to fight, even when being picked on. Shes's smart, and is good with negotiations, but she's also introverted and sometimes it's hard to understand what she's thinking or feeling. Taellra doesn't really talk much either, only to Tsuna and a select few others. She prefers to be alone, or with Tsuna, and avoids groups and crowded areas. Her flame color is white. Appearance wise, Taellra dresses elegantly. She doesn't fancy jeans or tshirts, rather she wears silks and robes, each with many layers. Taellra wears whites, blues, silvers, golds, and teals. She's not fond of the color red, it reminds her too much of blood, which in turn reminds her of her dead parents.

Taellra's darker side emerges when Taellra is angry, or when someone she cares about is threatened. This darker side, named Ilrise, is completely the opposite of Taellra. Ilrise loves to fight, and she's loud, rash, and rather flirty. Ilrise loves to find flaws with other people, and constantly degrades an opponent in battle as a tactic to make them drop their guard. Ilrise loves the color red, and chooses to wear Gothic Lolita style clothing in black and red. Ilrise has a black flame, which radiates differently and has different properties than the calmer, white flame. Ilrise differs from Taellra not only in terms of personality, but appearance. Taellra has black hair, navy eyes, and pale skin.

Unknown to Ilrise, but well known and a nightmare to Taellra, there lies a third personality, more vicious and brutal than anything you've ever seen. Her name is Tiir. She bears a platinum colored flame, and she's not a person you'll ever want to meet...

Weapons and Fighting Styles:
Taellra prefers to fight from a distance, but she has several weapons for close range combat too. The gauntlets she's always wearing are one of her weapons, but they're rarely ever used as Taellra avoids hand-to-hand combat at all costs. Taellra specializes in distance fighting while her box creature does the close range fighting. Her attacks are specialized; Illusions combined with physical attacks, all with an added twist: Music. Taellra fights to the beat of songs, and her attacks are different depending on the song that's playing from her main weapon, which doubles as a musical device. Her main weapon doesn't get used much in fights, she prefers to use weapons that she can throw or shoot. Taellra fights with Chakrams, throwing them around like frisbees and catching them as they return. If not using her Chakrams, Taellra can manipulate beams of moonlight into a bow and arrow which she also uses. All of Taellra's weapons are white, gold, and peacock blue in color.

Ilrise's weapons range from daggers to claws to scythes, all of which are made for close and hand-to-hand combat. Irlise usually uses a pair of twin daggers, getting right up in the enemy's face to fight. While Taellra avoids critical points and vital spots, Ilrise uses them only to intimidate the opponent, slashing at them but not hitting them in the hopes that the enemy will fall back. Ilrise's weapons are dark in color, usually black and gray and covered in thin black flames, looking rather ominous and well-used, with stains on them from previous battles. Ilrise's attacks aren't as graceful or elegant as Taellra's, but Ilrise was never much for dancing, so her attacks are pretty plain, tricky as they can be to keep up with.

Taellra's attacks follow the patterns of the song playing, and she sort of dances as she attacks, making it hard to land a hit on her at times. Depending on the song, she might mix in an illusionary attack just to add effect and throw off her opponent at the same time. Taellra may not look it, but she loves to show off in front of the person she likes, whoever it may be that she does like. However, if there is no moon in the sky, Taellra cannot use illusions and has to rely on physical combat, which she dislikes. Ilrise on the other hand, prefers to get things done fast in battle, and wastes little time on flashy antics and showing off. Rather, she gets close and fights in all seriousness, saving the flirting for outside of battle. Ilrise's attacks are plain, strategic, powerful, and fast in contrast to Taellra's more playful attacks.

Ilrise manipulates shadows to fight, using them to corner the opponent and then lashing out while their attention is on the shadow. Ilrise cannot make shadows attack physically, but she can move amonst them and melt into them with the power of her black flame. The black flame itself radiates darkness rather than light, so there's always shadows for Ilrise to use at her own leisure. Taellra on the other hand uses light and water particles in the air, making copies of herself on occasion that disappear when hit by an attack, leaving behind a shimmering veil of "moondust;" solidified water molecules that glimmer in the light like tiny flecks of glass. Taellra often uses technique when trying to negotiate rather than fight, or as a distraction. When used as a distraction, she cloaks herself and waits until the illusion is hit, and then strikes from behind. On the night of a full moon, Taellra's attacks are at their best capability. On nights of a new moon, Ilrise's attacks gain their boost to full power.

Weapons and their Descriptions:
Halberd
Taellra's main weapon is a Halberd with a long ribbon attached to the blade. It has three feather-like blades and built in the middle are the speakers that generate the music she follows during battle. The three devices inside the center are called "Staticphones" and produce a noise which sounds like plain, irritating static to anyone who's not wearing the earpiece that changes the sound into music. Taellra, of course, wears the earpiece so she can follow the beat of the song. Because of this, the enemy never knows the song that's playing and cannot track her movements and predict her next attack. Because a halberd was designed for semi-close range combat, Taellra usually stabs the blunt end of her Halberd into the ground and lets it stay there for the duration of the fight.

Chakrams:
The chakrams she fights with have four sets of three "teeth" that jut out from each side of the outer edge. These are used to tear, slice, and rip, and Taellra keeps them sharpened and clean to prevent dulling and rusting. The chakrams are rather plain in design compared to her bow or other weapons. But they get the job done, so she likes them. She throws them, and they return in the fashion similar to that of a boomerang. In the middle of the chakram ring, there are seven lights placed on opposite sides, that light up when thrown. These help during fights in the darkness, though it does make her attacks more predictable. But otherwise, Taellra could end up getting hurt, or even killed. Taellra's fighting style with the chakrams is somewhat flashy, as she dances around and sways a lot while throwing them. It may look like showing off to spectators, but she's really just avoiding the teeth on the edge of the blade. If she doesn't move, she gets cut trying to catch them.

Celestial Bow:
Taellra's bow isn't a physical object, but when she summons it, you wouldn't know the difference. It's made of moonlight but when it's fully materialized, it looks like any other bow made of steel and wood. The only thing that doesn't completely materialize is the string. Even the arrows take a solid shape and appearance. The bow itself looks like wings of sorts, but the ends of the bow are jagged and can tear flesh if swung. In comparison to size, Taella's bow is as tall as she is, and only in her hands can it be held. If someone else tried to hold it, it would be like trying to grasp a beam of light, and it would disappear. The tips of the arrows for Taellra's bow radiate her white flame. Taellra loves to jump around while shooting the arrows from the bow, and she is capable of shooting up to five arrows at once. The arrows have the ability to pin something down, and she often shoots five to pin down the opponent and hold them down. One arrow for the neck, two for the arms (wrists), and two for the legs (knees). The arrows don't cause any physical wound, but they strike the nerves to temorarily paralyze the particular part of the body they hit.

Gauntlets:
These are counted as weapons as well, but Taellra doesn't use them as such, preferring them just for added support for her bow and protection from attacks if she must use her hands to block. In her Double Rebuke, the gauntlets consist of a long band of elastic in the form of a glove, only without the fingers. This extends half way to her elbow and ends in a loose black silk band of material. The guantlet covers the back of her hand, her wrist, and a bit of her arm. The last part of the gauntlet ends on an angle, towards the outside of her arm. The wrist band is metal and covers all angles of her wrist. The hand and arm coverings are made of leather and metal, and there's extruding points on the Knuckles which Taellra will use to punch the opponent, but only in DR form. When not in DR form, the gauntlets consist of several squares of leather that cover the back of her hand, and the tops and sides of her arm. These are held to her arm by elastic straps, meaning that the undersides of her arms are vulnerable to attacks, hence why she does not normally use them as weapons.

Beam Cannon:
Taellra's most devastating weapon, and one she does not use often. This weapon takes the form of a technologically advanced, and well crafted rocket launcher, but it shoots out short blasts of her flame rather than missles or rockets. The shots from the cannon cause devastation in mass amounts, and Taellra does not like using this weapon. The design of her beam cannon is unique. Rather than a boring, generic looking cannon, her beam cannon is modelled after a wolf. (See drawing, for the love of God. I can't describe the appearance.) The weapon has glowing eyes and a glowing beam down the "snout" that shine a neon blue, and the weapon itself is silver, blue, teal, white, and black. The "nose" on the front is red, and lights up when the cannon is online and ready to be fired. Normally, the "jaws" stay semi-shut, the teeth a few inches apart. The actual cannon on the inside of the mouth is visible. The weapon can be shot like this, as the blasts of flame are a set size and do not touch the top or bottom of the mouth. However, the blast can be charged too, to be more powerful and more deadly. In this case, the "jaws" open, revealling the full view of the cannon and a small orb of flame being charged. When charged, the blast becomes a long beam that can be fired for five seconds, and instead of exploding and freezing like the small blasts, it completely obliterates any trace of what it hits, leaving a smoking crater in the ground.
Generally, Taellra only uses this weapon when her flame is Platinum, as normal Taellra can't stand to use this weapon. Platinum Taellra, however, sees no issues with using it and often takes joy in even just having it out of the box to intimidate the opponent. Ilrise sees no use for the weapon as she feels that it takes too long to fire and it's too "flashy." The Doppleganger is unable to use this weapon, as it requires a great amount of physical strength to weild, and the doppleganger is not a physical object.

Boxes:
Taellra possesses only two boxes. One for her weapons and one for the creature she keeps for battling. Both boxes require a Moon/Sky flame of high purity to open, and as such they cannot be opened by just anyone. Both boxes are platinum in color, but the weapons box does not have a chain wrapped around it like the second box. The weapons box, when used, sends out Taellra's main weapon, and if used again it sends out her Chakrams or Beam Cannon. The illusions she can use are created from her flame energy, not her weapons or her boxes, and her illusions can be summoned even out of battle, as long as the moon's in the sky to provide her with it's light. She keeps her boxes on her waist, attached to a sash-like belt.

Doppleganger:
Taellra's second box houses her battle spirit, a Doppleganger. The box itself has a chain bound around it and the box is always rattling and shaking violently. However, if Ilrise is in possession of the body, the box is calm and peaceful. Before battling, Taellra or Ilrise will unbind the chain and release the Doppleganger, which immediately takes it's form, and goes to battle with Taellra. Most times, the Doppleganger is disguised as Ilrise (since Taellra is in control of the body), and it copies her weapons, fighting style, and appearance down to the fine details. When Ilrise summons it, it takes the form of Taellra, and it mimics her actions perfectly. It would be impossoble to tell them apart, save for one small flaw with the doppleganger's abilities; it cannot copy the exact flesh tone and hair/eye colors of the target. As Ilrise, the doppleganger has dark gray skin, black hair, and black eyes. As Taellra, it has pale Ivory skin, a darker shade of brown hair, and dark purple eyes. Taellra's skin is pale, but not that pale. Ilrise on the other hand just doesn't have gray skin in general. Regardless, it's a bad idea to take the creature lightly, because it can fight just as well, if not a small bit better, than the original. The doppleganger's true form is unknown, but it is assumed to be nothing more than a swirling, shapeless mass of shadows. The doppleganger can instantly morph if Taellra should suddenly change forms during battle, but if Taellra goes into DR mode, the doppleganger vanishes instantly. Being nothing more than a shadow, the doppleganger cannot be dealt physical damage. If it takes a hit, it simply vanishes and needs to be resummoned.

Flame Colors and their Properties:
Taellra's White Flame:
Taellra's flame is pure white. It radiates softly from her forehead in hyper mode, and also from the gauntlets she wears in battle. It also radiates from her back in the form of wings. The flame dances gently, lookin more like a spirit mass rather than an actual flame. The white flame has no particular properties that make it special. It cannot heal, it cannot absorb other flames. However, on the nights where the moon is visible, it can create illusions from air particicles. The white flame shimmers like the moonlight on the waves of the ocean. The white flame represents a full moon on a clear night, .

Ilrise's Black Flame:
The black flame, a sinister flame that radiates wildly from Ilrise's forehead. It ungulfs her weapons in battle, unlike Taellra's flame. The black flame has the power to reverse the effects of other flames, except for the Sky Flame. If the raw black flame touches bare skin, it causes severe burns and damage. The black flame represents the lunar eclipse, desolation, and gives off no light like the white flame does.

Tiir's Platinum Flame:
The vengeful flame. The platinum flame radiates like a wildfire from Tiir's forehead, and it generates intense, searing heat. The platinum flame covers Tiir's feet and hands, and tiny threads of the flame weave the pattern of feathered wings on her back, and then become solid, platinum flame feathers. The platinum flame can cut anything it touches, and as a result, Tiir often ends a battle cut up, bleeding, and scorched. But of course, Tiir couldn't care less.

Double Rebuke - The Platinum Maiden: Tiir
Taellra has a unique ability; she can use a Rebuke bullet twice. Using it once gives her the normal white or black flame on her head, and her basic fighting abilities. However, when the situation calls for a last resort, she'll use it again, unlocking her true strength and abilities. Upon using a second bullet, her flame turns a brilliant platinum color, and radiates from her head like uncontrollable wildfire. When in this form, her gauntlets and feet are engulfed in the platinum flame, and she wields a broadsword. She fights with her fists and feet as well, causing huge amounts of damage to an opponent. Taellra's appearance in this form is different again. Her hair is light brown, her eyes turn platinum, and her gauntlets change shape and become more like bracers. The wing-like flames on her back are true to the shape and appearance of real wings. Twin Flame ribbons appear on her head as well, trailing down her back and touching the ground. This new personality is known as "Tiir."

Tiir wears a silk robe with blue and silver patterns on the sleeve cuffs and bottom, and the neck, sleeves, and edges are trimmed with black and gold. A deep red sash is tied around the waist and has several ropes tied in that are a mixture of black, gold, and silver. Aside from the eye change, Tiir looks the same as Taellra in her white flame form, only something is different. Tiir is the embodiment of hidden rage from Taellra's past, and she's very ruthless, even moreso that when Ilrise takes over. 15 years of pent-up rage can do awful things to a person, and Tiir is completely insane. She doesn't fight in the flashy or taunting methods of her other two forms, she fights to kill. And she usually succeeds, the only description of her fights being "total slaughter."

Tiir is deranged, and takes great joy in killing. As such, everyone is scared of her, except for Tsuna. Tiir knows that she cannot harm Tsuna for she knows that Tsuna is important to Taellra, and the moment Tiir tries, Taellra would take over the body and stop her. Not that Tiir would have any reason to attack Tsuna or the others in the first place, of course. She may be a maniac, but she does know her allies from her foes. But even so, Tiir is uncontrollable, violent, and doesn't listen to orders. She acts on impulse, and takes things farther than she should, just for the joy of hearing the dying screams of her opponents.

Because of this, Taellra only uses a second bullet if her own life is in danger. No matter how mad she may be at a person, she will not use it unless she is an inch from death. This method is hard on her and it takes weeks for her to recover after using such means to win, and it also leaves her pretty scarred and it takes a while for her to calm down and get over what's happened. This side of Taellra makes it hard for Taellra to get close to anyone, for fear that they'll see it and grow frightened of her. Thus, she tries to avoid relationships and friendships, often feeling lonely but forcing herself to cope with it. If she does develop an interest in someone, she tries to just watch from a distance and avoid contact with the person.

She sounds epic!!
I have several characters, couple are from my old RP board but could easily be adapted to Reborn, it would suit at least on of their personalities!!
And I have a Death Note OC too but the story she's in has just kinda died.
I'm working on a completely new guy for my Reborn fic, 59-kun ^_^
