Hi all, Well my Dead Justice box set arrived yesterday and i have tried something i've never done before, making my own 'scenic' base. Now because of the crew's style i've gone for a wild west theme. First we have the bases themselves, pretty plain at the moment: ![]() Next up is Dead Justice herself, i've added some home made ribs to give it a bit more flavour: ![]() Next we have the first Death Marshal, knicknamed Overkill. As you can see i've given him a home made animal skull: ![]() ![]() And here we have another Death Marshal, this guy with a partially submerged skull: ![]() Death Marshal 3 is up next, complete with his own attempt at a cactus: ![]() ![]() Finally, the Judge. Because of how much base he takes up, i left his plain: ![]() So there we go. It was quite simple and cheap to make (milliput to make the cracked centre of the bases with fine cat litter [unused] for the surrounding area, and then milliput for the skulls and stuff). |

My plans for expanding these bad boys are with 3 things: 1). The Guild Guard. While i don't know the rules, it is my understanding these guys are pretty solid characters to use. For models I'll be picking up the Guild Autopsy models, as in the fluff they are reanimated Guild Guard. 2). The Executioner. I understand that he is a must for Lady J, essentially filling the role of sniper only as melee (his execute ability is akin to the headshot ability of snipers). After seeing some models on the official boards, i think a recently dead Executioner should be good, modelled with a gash in his belly and spilled intestines. 3). Last but not least is the Lady J totem, Scales of Justice. I am thinking of doing him as a mockery of Lady J, removing his head and having him hold it in one hand. Being able to do this and make it look good however? that's a different matter all together |

I don't think either of you drive, this should be 'interesting... ![]() I really fancy doing a mini-Malifaux tournie again some time soon, but we should probably try to run a 40K tournie first I think and somehow figure out how to get more than six people to turn up... |
