Its the weekend of the 18th of March in South West Germany, here's the link to the site with info: http://www.eurogt.org/ I've been to several before, and indeed organised one in the UK which I ran at WHW a couple of years ago (which oddly enough I think wasn't as good as the continental ones as it was not residential, IoW people had to go back to hotels and couldn't stay up until 4am playing card games in the hotel bar, etc...), so I can vouch for the fact that they are very, very good events and certainly worth the hasstle of getting on a plane or driving to attend. I usually find it best to travel up on the Friday morning or even Thursday evening. It gives you an extra day of pre-event drinking, pickup games and so on. Likewise leaving on Monday morning rather than Sunday night is to be advised, dragging things out makes it that much better I feel... |

The Euro GT isn't a tournement, the 'GT' stands for 'Get Together'. It started as a way for the people on the Direwolf, and then Mordheim and Warmaster Yahoo Groups to get together in 'Real Life' to spend a weekend playing games and socialising. Basically its a social event that happens to revolve around wargaming really... |
