ATTN ALL TSU MEMBERS: Finally, we now have a shoutbox here! I was able to find the right one for this board. I want to make sure I got one that would blend in with the site and make it look like part of the board. I didn't want something that stood out and potetially slow down the site. I have enough of that , as it is.  I've been working out the kinks for a couple of weeks now and managed to get it fully operational today. I hope everyone enjoys it. Shout away!! Well, I hope by now I have it working right and, hopefully, it will stay that way. I had to move stuff around and change permissions and stuff like that. |

It's been gone ever since TSU changed over to ZetaBoards, but I was able to decent shoutbox code that doesn't bog down the site. Plus, it's built-in to the site, so it will show all the regular TSU usernames. So, once again... ...IT'S BACK!!!

There will be a more updated version added here in the few weeks or so. It is actually the official ZB Shoutbox and it looks a whole lot better.

IT'S HERE!!! It is now located towards the bottom of the page, just above the board stats. It is definitely a lot more user-friendly, IMO. Let me know what you think. Edited by WC Jerome, Sep 28 2009, 02:14 PM.

Just to let everyone know, for those that like the shoutbox, it is not gone forever. It's just that it isn't free, at the moment. Unfortunately, it's a 'ZetaBoards Premium' beta feature, which it is part of package that I have to pay for month by month, which is something that isn't in my budget right now. However, once ZB works out all the kinks, it will eventually be released as a regular (free) feature and it will be back here. |
