It should sadden us all when a major icon, such as Bill Cosby, is alleged to have sexually exploited young girls. It taints him, and casts doubt on the foundation of our beliefs of a man developed over decades of watching him do good things.

He will never recover from these allegations, but I now want to look at the business of making allegations of rape. Boy it can be profitable.

Some points:

1. Saying they were doped with cocaine makes no sense. That pumps you up, and does not make you pliable for rape.
2. Why wait 30 or 40 years?
3. A strike lawyer is suddenly finding all these victims from so many years ago seems implausible.

I have great confidence that many young women did succumb to Cosby's charms and reputations over the years. I have bedded many many with less in my arsenal over the years. But seriously he didn't rape them, nor did he need to.

It is to me most likely a form of litigation black mail, started by a horrible person who is a lawyer. This person only cares about profit, and disregards what is decent.

The story will play out (as with Ferguson) initially based on BS reporting by what once were decent news stations but no longer are.

Let me give you another example of money to be made by falsely accusing people of rape (and it is all the rage these days. Consider "rape" and "rage" - only one letter difference). Here is a woman making millions of dollars writing a book about her alleged rape by a frat person, giving lots of sort of names.

The person identified, perhaps, is taking offense. Hired a lawyer to sue her and her publisher (while she is on her European book promoting tour - my word do we enjoy a good victim story).

The publisher and the author refuse to return calls respecting the person who alleges it is he she refers to. She doesn't care if his name is hurt. The story and the link:

Here is what I think: If you have been raped, you report it immediately to the police. If you don't do that, then shut up and get on with life. You don't hang around for 40 years before making a complaint. Seriously piss off.

Here is a more detailed story of the apparently fabricated story of the dunham girl. From all evidence she fabricated the story and, even though someone is apparently implicated, she has refused to comment or clear his name.

What a bitch. Who do you believe now?
