Magnussen has been poor since the Australian GP IMO.

McLaren has given him a sheit car ever since, with mechanical failures. <doh>

The stupid thing is that while they had a good Oz, Lotus who barely made the race are now faster than them.

McLaren has been standing still, while most other teams have made quantifiable progress in speed, stability, aerodynamics etc.

It wouldn't surprise me if Ron has written off this year and is concentrating on next year's car - too much MW influence in this car....

<think>

MW?

It's true, so why do they keep promising progress with all the upgrades.

Eric was adamant that they KNEW what the upgrades were going to deliver in Spain.

Oh sorry MW, Martin Whitmarsh

it's such a short session I wish they would reset the time. It must screw up those already out on track handing a neutralizing advantage to those that didn't go out plus we have a ridiculously short session

Eric may be good but I have a problem with his claims. Like last year when he kept communicating that Lotus already had the money in the bank. For more than 6 months in a row. When reality is they never arrived as Lotus never even had the sponsor signed. <thumbsdown>

I am VERY surprised McLaren took on Eric.

I wonder if Brawn will go on a fishing holiday in Milton Keynes (or where ever Mclaren are based)
;)
