That's not the whole story. Red Bull did inform him that he was on older tyres in another radio message after which Ricciardo got past. |

True it's not the "whole" story, whoever when the team did tell Vettel to let Daniel through, he pretty much told them to pound sand. I'm sure Webber never would have gotten away with such behavior. |

I still think the best moment and pit radio tweet of the race was when Koba un-lapped himself from Vettel. Vettel shouting and complaining to his engineer about Kobayashi's unlapping was ridiculous. The fact is that Koba in the Caterham at that point was going faster than Vettel and Koba is perfectly entitled to unlap himself from the frontrunners. Besides this - Vettel is a true racer, so its only natural he does not like to be overtaken. And especially not by his own team mate. So I am really not that surprised about erratic on-track behaviour when team orders are coming into play. And that's no matter which driver it may be. |

Vettel even with his finger "which must be seizing" will never be as annoying as Lewis Hamilton. The British press are now comparing Lewis to his hero Senna. Oh give me strength

I'm always amazed how this country wants to see it's sporting elite fail rather than celebrate them and want them to suceed. Sad. |

Happens in other countries. I think Lance Armstrong and Michael Phelps are utter tossers. |

Don't get me started on Phelps. How is he the "greatest Olympian of all time"? Sure, he won zillions of medals, but he was in zillions of events. That's how it works in swimming. Using that theory, nobody from taekwondo, judo, wrestling etc could ever become the "greatest Olympian of all time", even if they won every event they ever took part in. And surely, for one to be classified as the greatest of something, everyone who takes part must be in with a chance. Rant over. |

Not only a prat but certainly the most undeserved world champion I have followed since the 70's.

That would be a great subject for debate on a dedicated thread on the forum! "The most undeserved world champion since the 70's!" Please remind me: Williams had a fantastic car those years when Villeneuve joined them. But Villeneuve finished just runner-up in first year in F1, as his team mate passed him in final race. Was that team mate also then the most undeserved WDC? And Rob, when Villeneuve did win the title the year after in 1997 in close battle with 2nd, was he undeserving because he exhibited such blatant unsportsmanlike conduct that he got a certain Schumacher excluded from the WDC and crashed into him in last race, whereby Schumacher lost the WDC lead and WDC in last race of the year? And btw, who was it that designed that car? => Car designed by 'him' and being so superior, makes the driver winning the WDC in such car the most undeserving? |
