Starting tough for a couple of teams just 8 minutes into FP1:
Magnussen/McLaren: Brakes going long from first corner.
Rosberg/Mercedes: No power from engine.

Sorry, who is everyone? Magnussen is a rookie, Jenson is a world champion. Kevin is going well, but I honestly don't recall anyone claiming Mags would get the better of Jenson.

May be hitting the panic button early, but it seems we are in for a season much like 2013, 2011, 2009, 2004, 2002, 2001, 1995, 1993, 1992, ect...

Mercedes certainly looks very strong, but lets hope some of the other teams can close the gap. We have both Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren and even Williams within shooting range. But clearly a challenge, as Mercedes will no doubt pursue relentless development to stay in front and they have a great pair of drivers to deliver.
