you are probably right, I was just trying to make a dull race more interesting. Nonetheless, Bottas NEVER found a way past. |

It was a bloo** boring race. Massa must have thought moving to Williams would give him a no1 status. We can criticise Massa for not given the place to Bottas but would Bottas have pasted Button and if not Williams would have the same points anyway. Looking up and down the grid not many drivers would let their teammates past unless they had a real problem with the car which Massa did not. His tyres were only two laps older so in my view Massa was right to keep his place. Lewis, Alonso, Kimi, Vettel, Button etc. etc. would do the same thing. |

just watched the race well done Hamilton, Rosberg and Vettel the Ricciardo situation is just unbelievable
You could argue either way on this, it's a bit hard to tell from the coverage just how it went down. Massa certainly did not pull over to let Bottas through like he could have done, however we didn't see Bottas attacking Massa and Massa blocking him either, at least not as far as I can tell around the time the calls were made |

And Ricciardo has been given a 10-place grid penalty on top for next race due to his unsafe release today...

It was only last season that someone was hospitalized for a wheel careering down the pitlane. Loose wheels can kill. I think it's harsh but I think it's necessary. If the teams have to slow down to make sure they've done the job correctly then so be it. Flying wheels have killed: Marshals, Spectators Drivers . . . Ayrton Senna probably wouldn't have died if his wheel had not hit him on the head. Different scenario for sure but it illustrates the gravity of the situation. Just to add, I think Williams had more than 2 occassions of poorly fitted wheels coming free on track. |

Senna's wheel didn't hit him in the head, it was a suspension strut. Charles Surtees was killed by a wheel hitting his head whilst on track

wasn't it attached to the wheel? I watched it . . . . live |

I would argue if Bottas couldn't get past Massa, how was he going to get passed Button? Either way surprising actions for Massa, I expect it to bite his ass someday. |

The suspension broke and pierced his visor. There wasn't anything unsafe about the wheel contributing to Senna's death, other than the lack of a wheel tether. |

As I recall the wheel was attached to the suspension part that hit Senna. Any wheel flying around has the potential to kill. |

Indeed. The suspension rod that is believed to have caused the hole through Sennas helmet visor/front and his fatal head injury was attached to the flying wheel when hitting him. |
