With Rosberg storming off into the distance and winning comfortably, how long will it be before we get people complaining "oh look, Rosberg's stormed into the distance, that's it, race over, F1 is so boring, blah blah blah" much like people were saying about Vettel last year? Also, by "people" I mean in general, not people here. |

..... and he's another German 'They' said it about Schumacher and they said it about Vettel but really only after they won a couple of championships on the trot... and after 3 or 4 in a row even their own fans are looking for a change (I know I'll be happy with a new champ in 2014) besides this is race 1 so far too early in the season to get worried about a driver running away with the championship.... we know that the merc is fast and now it I a race winner you cannot discount Lewis. |

I think Mclaren are going to bring a good challenge. I am however suspicious of Ecclestone already ear marking Rosberg for the title. Coincidence? But yes, it's one race. There is more to come from some people and I also think had Lewis and Rosberg had the chance to race each other they would have held each other back and given others a chance to attack. |

Hope Mclaren will be up there. It looks like Williams could challenge too (if they can keep the development up) |

Do not think we should rule out Red Bull either, even with a legal fuel flow. |

wether or not Rosberg is favorite for the title (after just winning the open grand prix), i feel that he is not recognised for his driving ability as much as his team mates. when Schumacher went to Mercedes, most of the talk of that he would dominate Rosberg. I know Schumacher was not the same driver as his first stint in F1 but Rosberg more than held his won against Schumacher. Now with Hamilton, okay it's been a year so it should be interesting how the 2 drivers compete for the title. As i said it seems that its always reported as Hamiltons as had a bad day rather than rosberg being good. Personally i hope he can win the title and silent the critics. cue Rosberg backlash

Rossberg has come on since moving to Merc, but overall for the season, I think 7 of 10 time Lewis would have him. Of course if this is one of the three... |

For one season, probably none. For four seasons when the car seems to need to be modified every few races after the FIA suggest it's not on a level playing field... maybe... |

Hamilton vs Rosberg - 2013: Qualifying: Hamilton wins, 11-8. Average Start 3.47 - 4.26. Average Finish 5.17 - 5.19. Pole Positions 5 - 3. Race Wins 1 - 2. Podium Finishes 5 - 4. Top5 Finishes 13 - 9. Finished Races 18 - 16. Overall, very close between the two, all considering they both had periods with mechanical failures. Hamilton has the edge, though Rosberg comes across as more consistent. |
