Just to keep the talk going. Any thoughts on the opposite theme of driver of the day. Who drove poorly or of whom did you expect a better show and why? Someone who has disappointed so far is Kimi. Poor testing poor show in the race. I suspect that there is more to it than him just driving badly, perhaps his car had problems or he's not comfortable with new things but the only thing he lit up this weekend were his tyres. Renault didn't disappoint either by generally being disappointing except in the RBR of Ricciardo, however it seems there might have been reasons for that too. THoughts???? |

Kimi's up there, but Kobayashi utterly pissed away a great quali run. |

Koba hit both Massa and Kimi at the start and Kimi explained in post race the car was worse after that. That said, both Alonso and Kimi have stated that the Ferrari team clearly have work to do to catch up with the best, as they lack balance and power vs competition. Underperformers of the race: #1: Hamilton engine #2: Vettel power unit. Lotus would be on top of my list, but that's more due to where they were last season. In the testing leading up to the race, it was obvious they suffered along with Red Bull with the Renault power unit. Still Red Bull did get their act together for the race, witnessed by Ricciardo (even considering the fuel flow 'advantage'). |

We should probably put Renault as looser #1. ![]() Only 3 of their 8 cars made it to the finish line. |
