Well, this is looking quite good for the championship. Maybe RB will complete a race distance in total by about June.....

Having a seriously off pace defending quadruple champion team makes for a 'good' championship...I guess if you knew nothing about F1 that might be true... it will ensure a different team/driver will be crowned end of season for sure... but it will be a ever so slightly devalued championship without a competitive defending champion... As for the season well that should be a good one with lots of change and uncertainties... I am looking forward to it (especially watching the Alonso/Kimi pairing) but it would have been soooooooooooo mush better if RBR were in the mix.

Roll on Aus.

I really do think RB will bounce back but not sure when. Mercedes and Williams looking good so far but it's only early days. I can't wait and see what will happen in Albert Park....and I will be there! <dance>
Cheers all.

You mean like when the FIA crippled Ferrari by introducing tyre rules designed to hinder them and rendered them miles off the pace for several years?

Clearly there is a precedent here that once more the motive of a serious regulation change is to shake the pot up and break the monotony of utter dominance by one team and driver. The difference here is that at least Ferrari and MS were honest about they way in which the team was focussed on a single driver, and didn't spend years lying about treating their #2 driver as a piece of number two. There's something about the conduct of Horner and Marko over the last few years that means if they have a truly terrible season, I for one will gladly be as smug about it as when they appear on camera after yet another 'clarification' means they've got away with murder once again, like their dodgy engine maps, dodgy slots, and highly flexible noses.

there where quiet a lot of red flags on the last day of testing - me wonders how many cars will make it to the end of the race <think>

Who needs all the cars finishing all we really need are 3...

Every cloud has it's silver lining as they say and at least with Rubino gone I'm not fussed who wins this season, naturally I would prefer it to be Seb ( <doh> ) or Jenson ( <flirt> ) but would equally welcome any other driver...

even Kimi <roflmao>

Good to see you back here!

Thanks mate. I am just passing, saw the light...

I really hope not to see too many DNF but I sincerely think Melbourne could beat the record this time.

Last Man Standing could be a mighty short game this year.
